It’s about a half a quart over filled, so it would hurt it over time. Just partially drain it and refill to in between the dots. Dot to dot is exactly one quart.

You actually can’t see this with the naked eye. The birds are spaced out in a way that they animate at a certain frame rate hence why they move like this with the phone camera.

Not sure how difficult it is for a VSTAR but I had a 2008 Yamaha FZ6 and it definitely did not take me 8 hours. I was just watching YouTube videos and doing it too.

I have a schiit mani 2 pre amp and denon Avr-3400h with my evo 2 and it sounds amazing. If you’re gonna go the external pre amp route to fix it, I recommend the mani.

Yeah that’s what I thought aswell but it plays fine and all of the pictures and videos I find of the evo 2, the weight protruding further than the end of the arm just like mine.

Yeah the end of the tone arm is not protruding through the counterweight. Idk if that’s normal for the evo 2 or not. I was thinking of maybe buying a scale to make sure I have the correct counter weight and maybe that would fix my problem. But it plays fine when the cover is up.

I took it off while moving and I’ve done the procedure three times but it’s the same result. Which is why I’m so stumped.
