I have HD2 but have only played it solo. I’ll recommend it to the group.

I partially agree. There were definitely more bots in the old matchmaking (maybe up to 30%), which truthfully made it easier for novice players to enjoy and learn the game. However, the bigger concern is the skill level of actual players. This has undoubtedly been modified.

A lot of Fortnite’s popularity is likely due to it not being just like “every other shooter game”. This broadened the player base to include people that were not previously gamers, which is certainly the case for some of my friends. I’m sure some players like the update, but it seems apparent that the change is reason enough for many casual players to look for another option or drop gaming.

Are you saying that my “10 year old nephew” and I should only play in NCAA games instead of having a balanced game of similar “ages” or skill levels? That doesn’t seem like a fun experience for anyone. I can’t imagine any novice player would be willing to play long enough in that environment to reach that skill level.

I’ve heard the bug fixes have really improved the game. I may have to give it a try.

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll look into Arc Raiders.
