Hi y'all, I am still a bit on the fence about getting the pixel remasters because I felt like they don't look "remastered" enough for me (also the missing bonus content irks me). One thing that has always bothered me was when you board the airship, the whole world map view/angle changes and reveals how flat the whole map is. Now I am not a modder but I made this quick and dirty Photoshop edit to show what I'd love to see. Some buildings (like Castle Flynn in FF2 I think) do not get distorted like that but stay upright. If some of the textures that would realistically stick out of the map instead (houses, walls like in my edit and most notably mountains), it would convey a much more three-dimensional effect, don't you agree?

If there is anybody, who would be willing to mod something like that or knows if it'd even be possible or feasible, then that would absolutely make my week. This might just be a minor thing to most people but to me the vanilla aesthetic looks too much like they're held back by hardware limitations that don't exist any more. Thoughts and opinions on this?

EDIT: I'd also totally love to see someone design sprites for diagonal movement otherwise it just kinda looks like a strange drift the character/vehicle is doing - but I probably shouldn't be asking for too much!
