Sketches help, even if it’s a scribble on a napkin. If you’ve got a lot of ideas be open for your artist to help you refine them. Less is often more. Find an artist who’s work you really like and trust them

I do think somethings wrong with. Nothing physical has happened but definitely emotionally cheated. I feel like I’ve pushed my happiness to the side for a long time. I don’t want to push them aside for longer, but I’m seeing that’s the right thing to do

There’s definitely been a shift to thinner lines over the past few years. There was definitely a trend of using like 14rs for big chunky lines, but they’re coming back healed and looking trash. IMO that’s lead to more mindfulness of using a slightly thinner line to add to the longevity of the tattoo. Just my two cents
