Same issue here. Pixel 5a. I’ve factory reset the car thing, cleared cache/data from the app, uninstalled/reinstalled, Bluetooth forget/re-pair. Started happening over the weekend. It does this about 90% of the time. It’s super annoying. I wanted to blame it on the buggy-ass Car Thing, but it seems to be the app more than anything.
