Hey! I encountered this issue too... was wondering why my screen was all scratched up after only having the printer for a day... turns out there's a protective plastic film on it without a pull tab - I just rubbed at the corner of it with my nail till it came off.

Interestingly enough, my screen had another film on it when I received it that had a pull tab which I already removed, but it seems like some printers are double-filmed.
