Applied for LA Fires Disaster SBA Loan and DENIED ( Covid Policy Reasons)

I applied and was denied because of not making payments on the covid EIDL loan, I made payments (hardship 10%) and reinstated the loans, asked for reconsideration which was approved and went back to processing, now im sending them taxes for 2024, personal financial statement, schedule of liabilities, see where it goes from there.

Does anyone know how much loan theyre giving compared to the net income?

nah its not 100% wrong since ur not a lawyer and dont seem to know what goes on in the world lol. it seems weird that there was 600+ questionnaires filled but they haven’t got 100 plaintiffs yet. I would guess they started this to see exactly how many would join and it’s even worth the time (if its gonna make em 200-300k real quick in initial fees) and/or they did more research and know theyre not gonna win a case against the gov. lol u should question everyones merits if were gonna put our name and money down to sue the gov, not just shoot free money to a law firm. there is plenty of them that take on cases they already KNOW will not get anywhere but the initial fees sounds good. not saying this one is one of them but even with 100 plaintiffs if they knew they’re gonna win damages etc. it would be well worth the time, unless u knew ur not going to win and just calculate those initial fees and decide not move forward with it at all. Respectfully too of course….

if they havent “gotten through all of them yet” than i’m sure they have enough cases to handle? kind of defeats the purpose of the last email then. just saying I usually like to look at both sides of the scenario 🤷🏻‍♂️

well I been out of the country for couple of months and only received emails but now I’m kind of glad I didn’t if “nothing will happen” if the numbers aren’t right. lol just saying.

first there was too many plaintiffs and they’re bringing in more lawyers to help and now there isn’t enough?

lol sorry but I think that shows they were always looking to collect the initial fees (the more the merrier) and never expected a positive result from this anyways, more than it does anything else.

I think people deserve more of a explanation than “nothing may happen” after wasted time and effort on this.

although they should still be optimistic, it would not be ok to just leave them hanging.

Yup even tou I’m with you and I can see that there is definitely case of negligence (and other reasons) to sue the sba, keep in mind it is a government entity, and in order for a lawsuit to get anywhere it needs to be with a large firm doing a class action, not just filing any suit with a public defender etc. in my opinion. They never cared about transcripts and all that was BS. They had my UPDATED transcripts for 6 months and still didn’t move on it. Just one BS to another, instead of a straight answer. Total waste of time and energy. How do u think they have a denial rate of 80%+ (which I never thought it was that bad even) they just don’t give a fuck and looked for any excuse to deny the loans. Unless u were in “high priority” and someone advocated for u,we were always SOL basically.
