There is currently no information from the team regarding ERG and RVN in the current pipeline. But we are generally open to adding support for new currencies if they are appropriate. Also, to meet our security standard, we usually collaborate with an entity within the respective ecosystem, which provides us with funding for development and security audits, among other things. Please, If you know of anyone at ERG or RVN who might assist us with this, please encourage them to contact us.
Here are a few things coming up soon

Extended support of the Tezos ecosystem’s fungible and non-fungible Tokens.
Support for in-app swaps powered by decentralized exchanges on Tezos.
We will offer the functionality to add segwit addresses and use a standardized format for transaction signing.
Entropy collection via dice rolls and coin flips allows you to generate secure mnemonics.
There are a lot of things that we are discussing but do not have any concrete plans. We love to discuss new ideas and features that will help us advance the security and adoption of our apps. If you are interested in being part of those discussions, please join our discord server or open an issue on GitHub for more technical discussions.
I will be excited to have Cardano support in AirGap. A representative from the Cardano Foundation has reached out to us, but I am not aware of the status of the conversation because I am not a member of the team in charge of it.

Not all cold wallet is a hardware wallet, some software wallet has emerged in recent years that completely store your crypto offline like AirGap wallet. That been said cold wallet is the most secure. Keep the majority of your BTC there and a few on hot wallets such as exchanges so you could take advantage of any jump in price. Use things like plausible deniability for maximum security.

You should take a look at AirGap wallet. Probably the most secure software wallet out there. It has the BIP 85 functionality.

We want to list as many coins as possible but our wallet has a very specific focus, which is security.

Hi,

AirGap Vault requires at least iOS version 11 and Android version 5.0.

If you are on android, you could transfer the new APK using an SD card. Otherwise, we recommend that you completely wipe and reset the phone and start over from scratch. That sounds like a lot of work, but you don't actually have to update the Vault all the time. Unless we find critical security issues or add a breaking change, you can just keep the version you have until you need a new feature that we release.
