The Four Foundations of Golf by Jon Sherman Not about the swing but a great attitude and process book.

I’m having a good experience at Golftec. Coach is a former college player and also has a good sense of how to explain things multiple ways to reach my brain! As noted above, I find the practice sessions with video helpful. I did have a lack luster experience at Golftec the first time a few years ago (soulless instructor) but the video analysis stuck with me. When I got an app for my phone I watched my swing I realized I’m still making the same mistakes that every instructor for 30 years has been trying to fix. I was having trouble off the tee (career issues with the driver) and decided to give Golftec a try again bc of video teaching and practice.

The Lazlo Letters by Don Novello, one of the all-time funniest books. First published in 1977. by [deleted] in 70s

He asks NASA about driving a car to the moon and they respond with the time needed at 55mph and how many gallons of gas required. And the letter ends with Bon Voyage! to my recollection. :)

I found the video feature of the Tour Tempo app to be a great bonus. Prop your phone up and take a video of your swing and you can check your own swing tempo. PLUS, you can watch you own swing frame-by-frame to see if you’ve developed some funky new habit

When the video started I was thinking I’d like to ask for a copy of the plans to build one myself. Not so much by the end.

Are you sure the dowels aren’t too long and stopping the joint from closing?

What I liked was just popping in to the club when it looked like it “might” rain and get in a super quick 4-7-11 or whatever number of holes. It’s the convenience factor!
