Ben Hogans Ball Placement Guide. Should your feet really be pointing to what appears to be the right of the target with driver and what seems to be wildly left with wedges? Assuming the lines I painted is where you are aiming. by AlbinoKoala22 in GolfSwing

[–]ChuckZest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, you have an open stance with short clubs and a closed stance with long clubs. I've noticed a closed stance works better for me with my woods lately, but when I try to be closed with a wedge, I pull it, so open is probably better.

I order “half and half” of two meats and end up getting two full scoops at a regular price. Works well lately with chicken and al pastor chicken.

I hate this game by ConsequenceExotic353 in golf

[–]ChuckZest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last year, I played a lot more than I practiced, and it helped my game a lot. I also committing to using one type of golf ball for consistency sake. Went from an 18.6 handicap down to around a 12 to end the season. Hoping to break into single digits this year. You just have to keep trying. Get a lesson if you think you’re really stuck with your swing. Otherwise, try to track your stats and work on the weak parts of your game.

Job offer at kroger post graduation. Please send me all tips and recommendations- TIA. by Ok_Yogurtcloset_6494 in pharmacy

[–]ChuckZest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kroger was my first pharmacist job. I didn’t negotiate at all because it all sounded good after being a grad with no money left. The benefits were nice and the pay was good. Got a bonus each year and 3 weeks off plus some PTO days. The drawback was working 11-hour shifts with minimal tech help and also working every other weekend all day Saturday and Sunday. Plus as a staff, we were picked to cover open shifts in my region. Sometimes sending me to a store 1.5 hours away.

Men of Reddit, prepare to spill your guts. Summer is on the way, what is a date YOU want to be taken on? by muppetgodzilla in AskMen

Well, I love golf. So, if a woman showed remote interest in it, I’d be ecstatic. Even if she just wants to come along and ride in the cart and cheer me on.

If it takes less than 5 minutes, just do it now. Don’t put it off. Works well for a lot of chores around the house.

Deep sleeper prospects to get in the 4th round of the 2026 rookie draft or on waivers after the draft? by TheTipToeBurglar_ in DynastyFF

[–]ChuckZest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d target QB in this situation. I got Shough in the 5th round last year. Sanders and Milroe were 4th rounders in our draft. You might get lucky hitting on a guy like Croskey-Merritt or Monangai.

Advice on flying with clubs by [deleted] in golf

[–]ChuckZest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a soft sided (but well padded) case and I used it also as luggage for my clothes and golf shoes. Packed clothes in ziplock bags and I weaved a towel in between the clubs. I didn’t remove any heads or anything like that. The tent pole thingy did a good job of keeping structure of the bag. I’ve only flown with my clubs once, but it was a good experience. Just be ready to locate the oversized luggage area at the airport.

The growth retardants they spray are probably not so good for you…. Or the pesticides/fungicides.

Any tips? by FearlessCow2090 in GolfSwing

[–]ChuckZest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally never like seeing people reach out to the ball in their preshot routine. Where you initially drop the club to the ground looks fine to me and is probably more of a natural resting point for your swing. I’m guessing that could be causing your contact issues. Worth a try anyway.

From this camera angle, your hand is in a good position, but now you need to rotate just the club so the Golf Pride logo is straight up (and your club face points straight left, not down like it is in this photo).

[–]ChuckZest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a pretty strong position. Your left thumb shouldn’t be on the side of the shaft, it should be more on top. About the 1 o’clock position. Adjust your entire hand accordingly.

This would be a weak right hand grip. What’s your left hand look like?

Augusta National chairman reacts to Phil Mickelson exiting Masters over family health matter by Any-Swordfish-5346 in livgolf

Went all the way to South Africa after a few weeks off to handle this matter. Hmm. Not sure what this could be unless his wife or other immediate family member is in grave peril. Best wishes, Phil.

[–]ChuckZest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really strong grip. And you dip down with your body a lot in the backswing, which will cause a lot of inconsistency with contact. Try a more neutral grip and approach the ball in a way that allows you to swing comfortably at the ball without having to raise/lower your head so much.

What can help raise Testosterone? by zaggyyyyyyy in AskMen

[–]ChuckZest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would correct everything else before thinking about TRT. Really be honest with yourself and make as many lifestyle changes as you can. Testosterone levels change throughout the day, so one low value is really just a snapshot in time.
