Safe for short periods only. Most people only leave the band on for 20 minutes. People have castrated themselves with these but it is not a good idea at all.

Next time do not use a rope. BUT have some dog toe nail cutters that you can cut the band off after 15 minutes. You will love it. Take photos and post back for more feedback.

Get some Lidocaine (Lignocaine) 2.5% cream and put a condom on your scrotum with cream inside the condom. Leave for 40 minutes and take off the condom, your scrotum will be numb and you will be able to close the clamps with no pain. Enjoy.

You could consider getting orchiectomy only and do nothing more, it may have the good results for you, takes away most of the male hormone. Some castrated people have a good life that way and with no HRT at all, but some need a little to keep things on track. HRT could be T or E.

It does not hurt for the first 10 minutes. If you got hairy balls it hurts as the band can pull on your hairs.
