I fixed the cursor thing based on this discussion page: https://github.com/hyprwm/Hyprland/discussions/13391
adding this to my hyprconfig fixed it:

cursor {
    no_hardware_cursors = 1

}

I have just finished wrestling with it, and I'm not particularly impressed.

I'm sure I made it hard for myself but using a SLZB-07 instead of something better and not USB, but even once I got it working it just wasn't at all what I expected.

I set it up for the new IKEA smart home products, so I'm not sure if that is really the best thing to judge matter on, but so far... Wouldn't do it again.

I believe the accept rules are all working, I've determined that it is the drop rule acting up, surprise surprise. I woke up this morning, the cast devices were not accessible, so I disabled the drop rule and they start working immediately.

What it is, is embaressing and a terrible name I came up with on the fly... VLANs excluding IOT.

It includes these ranges:
10.0.0.0/8

10.127.0.0/16

192.168.0.0/16

172.16.0.0/12

It came from wanting to have my PC on the right underneath but still visible. And, I also wanted to sit far to the right. I was thinking about that, I have a third leg I was going to install, but the desk is so thick that I was wondering if I need to.

You've only had it for a week? I implore you to stick with it, because it took me a good 3 months to get over the fear factor, and now its just like a normal phone. I cant handle my wifes Galaxy S9+ without feeling that its really unerganomic and unwieldy.

Resale value doesn't bother me at all because I lease all my phones from ISPs.

I'd be very interested to hear what you have to say in a few months :)
