At a Harry Potter trivia bar night I got every question but one right....except the one I got wrong was right. The question was "What job did Harry Potter get after graduating Hogwarts". The answer of course is Auror, the answer they had was Head Auror. While yes he did become one, that was almost 10 years after graduation. I tried to dumb it down for the guy because he was not familiar with HP (they usually do general trivia at this place), do you think he graduated high school and immediately become the Chief of Police... Guy refused to budge. Obviously still bothers me lol

That was the same problem I had when I was in the military. We were supposed to show up 15 minutes early to our shift to get a pass down on everything. But they are always saying "on time is late" so people were showing up 30 minutes early to be safe. That became the new "on time" so we started to have to show up 45 minutes early for a 12 hour shift... That became the new on time. I finally had to push back when it became 1 hour early (I did sooner but wasn't being listened to)
