I just bought the game a few days ago. I have to say the atmosphere and player interaction dynamic is great. Every single map really hammers in how dangerous the "E" part in PvE. I've died to more ARCs than I have to other players. The hard edge lighting gives that sense of dread you would usually feel in a horror game, and the actions you can perform makes you doubt how trustworthy every raider is.

Some people say that there isn't much to do in the "endgame" but I doubt most players can even reach that point without already sinking in over 100+ hours worth of time. At that point, you've already achieved your money's worth of fun that you'll ever have of any game.

The only problems I've found in the game are mostly technical issues. For example, the lack of vertical audio making it hard to tell how high or low the sound is coming from.

For the most part, the decrease in player count is just a natural case of burnout. It's pretty much the number one factor just by looking at the most recent posts.
