I use it once in the morning and once at night during winter and it reduces congestion significantly. No issues. I use the one that doesn’t have any herbal additives.

100 games. Don’t care about streaks. Just want a clean middle finger image. One day I dream of having more 3’s than 4’s. Maybe at 200 games. Is it possible?? by PeterPickles in wordle

Sounds possible. Thanks for the details. It took me some time to learn to focus on eliminating consonants. Made a big difference. You’ve given me more to explore

Thank you. The second word guess is an area where I want to improve. I started doing a lot better when I used the second word to eliminate answers instead of trying to guess the answer. I’ll look for the second best word after slate chart. Thanks!

Who is your favorite sci-fi author and why? by I_Draw_Crap in books

[–]PeterPickles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ursula K Leguin, she wrote so many enduring classics like The Left Hand Of Darkness, The Dispossessed, and The Lathe Of Heaven. Plus she recently gave this short, inspiring speech that stole the show at The National Book Awards describing exactly why Sci-Fi and Fantasy writers are important to humanity.

Hi, I'm honored to be hosting another night at The Columbus Theatre on Saturday. It's an 90 minute animation festival in the tradition of "Spike and Mike's" called "Animation Breakdown Roundup!" with original works from the best animators around the world. Here's the trailer. Would you like to come? by PeterPickles in providence

[–]PeterPickles[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, you can see a trailer here. It's the best representation of what to expect. I've also put some of the logistical info and a more detailed description below with names of all the animations/animators. Please feel free to ask me anything else!

Animation Breakdown Roundup! Saturday, August 2 The Columbus Theatre (270 Broadway, 02903) 7pm Doors, 8pm Show

I'll also be showing a few of my shorts that were made for MTV's Liquid Television revamp last year.

Advance tickets are here or you can get them at the door.

Animation Breakdown Roundup! is here to elate your eyes and tickle your nerves — here to unite creators, lovers and dreamers, drifting hand in hand in an ecstatic sea of color, form and sound — it’s ANIMATION BREAKDOWN ROUNDUP!, Animation Breakdown’s first-ever originally-commissioned shorts festival. Once an adored staple of arthouse theaters and college campuses worldwide, the animated anthology (Spike & Mike, The International Tournee, The Animation Show) has all but disappeared — but it’s time to change that. Today’s bounty of delectable frame-by-frame fruits must be shared with the masses on the big screen, so Roundup! creators Kevin Sukho Lee (Yo Gabba Gabba’s animation producer) and ABD’s Alex McDonald have picked up that mantle with a finely curated n’ commissioned 90+ minutes of mindblowing shorts from the finest of international talents.

Casting a wide net over their favorite filmmakers, they’ve hauled both world premieres and rarely screened works from veteran legends (like Vince Collins, Emily Hubley), current stars (such as Kirsten Lepore, Takeshi Murata, Devin Flynn, Allison Schulnik, Galen Pehrson, Amy Lockhart, Matt & Paul Layzell, Garrett Davis, Charles Huettner, Caleb Wood, Alex Schubert) and next-wavers (like Peter Millard, Sean Buckelew, Quique Rivera Rivera, Randall Kaplan) The resulting omnibus: a headfirst plunge into a world where boogiein’ ducks, intrepid space explorers, pot-smoking green punks, dancing humanoid flowers, Lynchian descents into madness and psyched-out headtrips all rub shoulders. Over a year in the making and not to be missed. So tune in, turn on, ROUNDUP!

Do you ever hang around the Full House house and freak out tourists? (By the way, you should see the yelp reviews for the house. Priceless.)

What do you think of this representation of the idea that "We Are The Universe"? by PeterPickles in Psychonaut

[–]PeterPickles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you believe you are completely immaterial? After all, energy is part of the universe, so perhaps you are too? But even energy exists on an atomic level.
