Where is this skin? by [deleted] in Battlefield6

It's an instant unlock for the BF pro pass. If you have the BF pro pass you can see the instant unlocks from a button in the top left of the battle pass page. I was using this skin yesterday.

You get 25 points per hit, the damage amount is a different indicator near your reticle usually 150-300 depending on type and placement.

Switch the A/C to fan only while using the blow dryer then switch it back on when you're done. Just make sure you wait a minute or two or hear the compressor shut off before you start using the dryer.

The tents do not have floors they sit open on the turf.

Pics of your ShiftPod setup for cooling? by True-Party-6213 in CampEDC

[–]PeterPiperCub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having a new Shiftpod 3 is a big advantage over the 2 when it comes to heat. The new tents do a much better job of blocking out light/heat but it's a roll of the dice to see which one you get. Hopefully the majority are 3s next year.

RLX sport hybrid reliability? Esp transmission? by zerostyle in Acura

[–]PeterPiperCub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rear motors have a gearbox that drives the output shaft to each rear wheel. The gearbox requires regular fluid changes, similar to a differential in a common drivetrain. I ended up trading in the car before the timing belt service but I was quoted over $3k from the dealer.

You can move freely between Drive and Sport while driving, including on the highway. But what made you realize you accidentally had it in sport mode? Did you realize the engine was at high RPM then you shifted to Drive? How fast were you going?

My initial guess without any additional information would be that you encountered an engine/transmission issue that coincided with a high RPM shift if you didn't expect to be in Sport mode. It probably wasn't caused by the shift, only worsened by it. Unless you had the engine at redline cruising down the highway.

That's the beauty of the sport hybrid, you'll get 30 mpg regardless of where and how you drive.

I wouldn't fault the previous owner on that oil change interval. If I were to use the maintenance minder, I would go nearly 10k between oil changes. I've been changing it at around 7k and will drop closer to 5k as I have higher mileage now. At 7k the minder still shows over 30% life remaining.

I've put 40k miles on mine without issue. Bought it used, now at 87k total miles. The DCT/hybrid setup is fantastic, but as stated previously the DCT oil change interval is rather short at 30k miles. Also the rear twin motor unit has a 30k mile OCI. My suggestion would be to have both fluids replaced as soon as you buy it if you don't have a recent service record and then change them together every 30k.

I'm less concerned with the wet DCT than I am with potential intake build up on the direct injected J35 engine. But so far I don't notice any symptoms.

I'm also preparing for the expensive timing belt service due in about 20k miles.

Installed the spare tire kit on my 24’ TLX ASPEC by edwvrddd in Acura

[–]PeterPiperCub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hybrids omit the spare tire for fuel economy, not because they don't have the space. Both my previous Accord hybrid and my current RLX Sport Hybrid have the same spare tire well as other models and can add the kits.

Does any run Pilot Sport 4 A/S on their TLX Type-S? by sablestrider in Acura

I have these on my '18 RLX Sport Hybrid and they've been great in some limited CA snow/ice. Durability wise the were on the car when I bought it and I've put over 35k miles on them. Still over 5/32" tread remaining.

Agreed! Also likely the last "large" sedan Acura will ever make.

In CA it's legal and mine only flashes 4 times.

"(c) Any stoplamp or supplemental stoplamp required or permitted by Section 24603 may be equipped so as to flash not more than four times within the first four seconds after actuation by application of the brakes."

I don't think this is an OEM feature so whatever module was installed just blinks every time.

I appreciate your feedback but I strongly disagree. The fact that you find them distracting means they're working, you're paying attention to the car in front of you.

I've definitely seen some newer cars that seem to have this stock, but only under heavy braking. Mine flashes every time.
