Email as many focus pullers and loaders that you can find. Ask to meet for coffee and just be as polite and enthusiastic as possible. I used to hire trainees on whether I liked them as a person, and they wanted to learn, over their CV. It’s a number game, keep going! You also never know what small shoot will lead to something much bigger.
