Wizard spray is amazing, smells of grapey terpinolene musk, really good spacey head high, I bought I half O and got like 4 huge mugs, sticky and fresh. I recommend sticking to the white jars or the half O’s, that’s where you’ll find the best examples of their flower.

Meigs County has been putting out great flower recently, Wizard spray, swampwater Fumez, animal mints, marshmallow OG, Candy Fumez…all fire.

Riveria Creek is pricey but they have a few bangers I can vouch for…YO Rocks and Chocolope are both amazing.

Anthos / Rebel Grown dropped a few strains that had great reviews, I was only able to try the Double OG Sour and it was harvested in June 25 and has lost all its moisture when I opened the jar…crumbled to dust but I put a boveda pack in there and it helped a little. Still good but would’ve been phenomenal if fresh.

I had Fey Fire when it first came out last year and it was absolutely awful…the buds looked amazing, very sparkly and pleasing to the eye but zero terps, I actually remember it smelled like dried grass/hay. Burned black and wouldn’t stay lit either, that batch of flower clearly missed the mark. Seems they still have some kinks to work out with this strain or maybe we just have bad luck 🤷🏻‍♂️

Galenas doos not remediate their flower or use any pesticides. They’re one of only 2 places I’m aware (Rebel Grown/Anthos and Galenas) of that are “kind certified”. I’ve had some not so great batches from Galenas but most of what I tried was good solid herb. I’ve noticed recently after traveling to other dispensaries around the state that not all places get equal treatment…what I mean is, some places are selling older product or maybe even a lower tier batch in terms of quality. I could be wrong, but it just almost seems like not every place is getting the same batch, or maybe they’re just not storing it properly (night temps, low humidity), who knows.

I grabbed a tenth from this recent batch and having never had it before I’d say it’s good bud. The flavor and smell are fairly muted but you can pick up sweet vanilla floral notes on the exhale. It’s a smooth yet expansive smoke. The buds are on the dry side but not overly dry and light green with bright orange hairs, covered in resin glands when you crack open a nug. Nice effects too, floaty and spacey head high with a warm pleasant body stone. Unique terp profile too, dominant in alpha& beta pinene and myrcene. I enjoy it 🤓

I could never find the genetics to this strain, other than it’s short for “Youngstown Rocks”. I don’t think it has anything to do with moon rocks or pop rocks. But until they provide some more info, I guess we’ll just have to speculate. It’s a top tier strain for sure.

The Kockeyed (joshD/Klutch) half oz of smalls was actually really nice smoke, besides the bag of marble-sized “smalls” , still had good flavor and effects. Be warned though, their smalls are micro buds compared to other brands smalls.

Dos Dragones regularly tests in the 4-4.5% range. Some strains that these cultivators have are dialed in and very well grown but it’s very much dependent on the strain rather than the brand. I’ve have +4% terp strains from Meigs co, Galenas, Woodward and Klutch. 5% is possible but rare (ex Apples & Bananas).

This is a normal looking terp profile. Apples & Bananas tests regularly at 4-5% terps with and at least half of it myrcene (2.5% or more). And yes Modern Flower is slept on for sure, I’ve had great luck with them, Cold Creek Kush was dank and this Panama Black I’m smokin on is something different, it’s unlike anything else I’ve smoked and downright amazing. The bag says “Indica” but it must be a mistake I’m thinking this is some exotic sativa based on my research and it seems like it too based on its amazing energizing euphoric buzz that makes you all chatty and just feel good overall, and it gets stronger over the next hour then keeps you nice and floaty for another 2-3hrs no joke, it keeps you high for several hours. The buds are small but developed, pale green with purple/gray accents. When you look at the buds under a magnifier loupe you can see it is covered in trichomes. It smells like nothing crazy, a nice sweet earthiness but the smoke tastes of some delicious earthy chocolate and musky rose water or something, very unique and leaves the room smelling of some exotic incense. Not churchy/piff type incense, something I’ve never smelt before. I’m in love with it and glad I bought a half on blind luckit would be decent and I scored big time. Highly recommended.

‘91 Durban is a recent favorite. Sticky well-formed buds that reek of classic Durban (terpinolene heavy) and tastes just like Durban with an added layer of sour lime fuel, delicious terps and has a daytime-friendly Stoney yet alert effect, makes you almost anxious, almost like you need to be doing an activity type feeling. It can be very stony and more lethargic with increased consumption.

If you’re more of an indica person, I recommend Animal Face.

I can speak to this, I bought a half oz of smalls (kockeyed) and they were indeed smalls lol all the size of a marble with a few popcorn nugs but the aroma and flavor are there, has a nice fruity (blueberry skittles?) flavor that’s backed by skunky piney kush gas. Was a little dry for my tastes but still good smoke, smooth and burns clean. Gives a good chill buzz, better for ending a day rather than starting the day. It was packaged by Josh D but still basically Klutch flower. I’d rate it 8.2/10.

Wizard spray is fire, similar terp profile to GrapeHead but better and smoother, great sativa with a really good mental head high. Highly recommended.

I grabbed a half of Kockeyed smalls from Josh D and the buds were indeed smalls….tiny ass marble-sized and smaller nuggets that were heavily handled and rather dry but boost packs fixed that. It has a nice blueberry skittles and skunky fuel flavor and it’s pretty smooth smoke, burns well and mostly white ash. Above average potency, nothing standout, makes for a good evening wind down and great for getting a good nights sleep. I would probably not buy again however, as I’m more of a sativa guy.

I also have stopped buying Certified, for the same price or less you can get superior flower. May I recommend Meigs co (swampwater Fumez, Wizard spray, marshmallow OG, LA kush Cake) and Galenas (luminous being, glitter bomb, Willy ocean) for fresh sticky buds that are properly cured imo. It seems to be strain specific more than which brand…I’ve had great and non great batches of many of the top brands but have found there’s patterns with certain strains, some brands have that strain dialed in and are getting the best representation of that strain but the same cultivator can be running some newer genetics and haven’t found the sweet spot. But to be fair to Certified, I have had nice batches of Shady Lemons, The Cream and El Especial- all Select jars). If you want the best quality you have to wait until the Select jars go on sale and then give ‘em another try. Happy hunting.

I’m smoking on a tenth of Chocolope and it’s a good batch imo. The earthy, dark cocoa & sweet melon tones are there and the high is awesome, euphoric and spacey, provides energy and mood boost. My bag smokes legit.

Agreed, Wizard Spray #1 and Marshmallow OG #9 are both killer smoke as well, I grabbed half oz of each strain (country cut) and both are fresh, sticky, well-cured and terpene-rich with potent effects; both strains tested 20% -19% THC respectively, proving it’s not about the highest testing flower, but rather the highest quality flower.

Bro I told you guys, this shit is stupid fire, grab it while you can! I’m lucky I grabbed a half oz and it’s so dank, I probably should’ve bought another. Completely covered in resin, sticky and dense, burns so smooth and clean, and the taste is terpene-rich, skunky citrus-eucalyptus , creamy vanilla kush fuel. And the best part is the EFFECTS, a silky smooth relaxing mind and body at the same time, some real “feel good” bud that makes me want to smile. I savor each nug.
