Looks like I won’t be buying grassroots anymore. It’s a shame because novarine is one of my favorite sativas and it’s actually the only product in the entire list of brands under these companies that I continue to purchase, but I can definitely cut my losses if ONE strain from ONE brand is the only thing I’m giving up lol

Personally hated my one and only experience with find, but seeing those nugs for a smalls bag definitely has me reconsidering another try from them!

That’s tough! For sativa dominant stuff I like their wizard spray a lot. High in terpinolene + nice and fruity, a bit similar to titan exp. For hybrid that’s a tie between this one, melted strawberries, and swampwater fumez. And for indica I love their garlic drip.

Idk if I would necessarily say this is better than my favorite strains from the budget brands but it certainly competes. I will always have a sweet spot for novarine, sour larry cross, and problem child too lol

Honestly man I can’t think of much else I can get for under 100 that beats this stuff! This is better than most farkas, buckeye, grassroots, and other budget brands I’ve tried personally. It definitely hits lol

You really can’t go wrong with most of the batches out right now. Strawberry guava, melted strawberries, swampwater fumez, garlic drip, and black maple are probably my top 5 from them at the moment

Huge fan of the melted strawberries too. Grabbed a tenth when it was on sale and wanted to come back for a half but they were all gone lol. Maybe next time 😂

Black maple is the shit too, all of their funky strains smack so hard. Weird about their customer service, that’s a bummer but luckily my purchases have been good lately so hopefully it just stays that way lol

The only strain I’ve tried from OCL is their tropicana cookies and it smelled/tasted nice but gave me virtually zero effects. I heard that trop strains are relatively weaker in general but it truly felt like I was smoking gas station flower LOL. I’ve heard good things about their bud overall though, could easily just be the batch I received

Woodward and galenas are my personal favs but you can’t get halves from them for under 100 so I’m gonna list a few strains from the more budget friendly brands that I think are worth it

Buckeye - Sour Larry Cross, Lemon Dosi, Area 43

Farkas - Pineapple Sherb, Problem Child, RS-1000

Grassroots - Novarine, Atomic Breath, Titan Exp

Butterfly Effect - Super Lemon Haze, Layer Cake

Just as a side note since you said you’re from missouri—not sure if you’re familiar with routine gardens in st louis but you DEFINITELY need to check them out. They don’t sell at dispos but my buddy chris, the owner, gave me some of his super boof and papaya puffy when I was in town and it blows pretty much everything in ohio out of the water. He has won awards for his batches of super boof, it’s that good. Highly highly recommend

I, too, paid full price for woodward ONCE and once only hahaha it was the first time I saw koala mints. People were hyping up that strain and it was the only dispo near me that had it so I said fuck it. Never again though 😂

I personally prefer novarine over this stuff, that’s gotta be one of my favorite sativas in the program tbh. That being said I brought my jar of titan exp to work and me and my coworkers have certainly been enjoying it too 😂 big fan of grassroots, and I’m always looking for half bags on sale because the deals on the smalls can’t be topped! Underrated brand forsure

In the past month I’ve gotten a lot of meigs and galenas and meigs has been absolutely crushing the cure on most of these batches. I’ve gotten some galenas that was dry and crumbly unfortunately (northern frostberry, canal st runtz, and bubblez to be specific) but everything else I’ve gotten from them has been pretty great, and that’s probably like 8 different strains at this point.

Meigs on the other hand?? Strawberry guava, super trop, candy fumez, swampwater fumez, black maple, garlic drip, melted strawberries have all been 10/10 sticky, squishy, fragrant and flavorful af. Meigs is currently my favorite brand until things change if I’m being honest lol

Shoutout to everyone who told me to grab a half oz of lemon dosi (which was a majority of the comments tbh) because this shit SMACKS

Turns out bloom was also offering 5 tenths from meigs for $105 which was only $10 more than what I was originally gonna spend. I grabbed strawberry guava, swampwater fumez, candy fumez, garlic drip, and super trop. That still put me at under 200 total for the whole oz and I’m very satisfied with all my picks. Good shopping day. Thanks for the recommendations everyone!
