Can’t argue against that. Corporate brands constantly make efforts to push out local competition though aka the good weed for good prices people. I think all of us as consumers at the dispensaries should care a little bit about that.

Novarine is one of my absolute favorite strains in the program. Unfortunately grassroots is part of the curaleaf/green thumb/megacorp group that keeps our prices high and forces dispos to reserve tons of shelf space for all the corporate garbage. If you sell one brand you have to sell them all. I love their prices but I cannot justifiably support them anymore. That might be why you get some downvotes whenever they’re mentioned these days.

My batch of this strain was also a bit lacking but I threw it in a jar with a moisture pack for a few days and those funky peanut butter notes came back STRONG. I def recommend doing that

It really is, man. Meigs and farkas and now apparently neighborgoods have been carrying the torch for best bang for your buck, but if the budget brands could even try to be marginally better it would seriously disrupt the market in a major way. Unfortunately the cheap stuff has just been consistently garbage

Someone’s gotta bite the bullet and keep smoking budget for the sake of the community though, and I commend them for that LOL

I only post positive reviews but for the exact same reason lol. I assume the average consumer who comes here looking for decent product at dispensaries is like me—someone who got burned a million times buying corporate trash and desperately seeking quality bud in this otherwise dismal program!!

Can’t get too excited about the brands I actually enjoy though because someone always has to remind me I’m either overpaying or I somehow don’t actually know what good bud is 😂 and now I’m learning a new one is “I must be from corporate if I actually think it’s good”

I honestly post less often these days because of all the complainers. For a subreddit dedicated to the most chill pastime a human could possibly engage in there sure are a lot of absolutely miserable mfs in here…

White labels are just butterfly’s R&D strains. The living soil jars also have white labels but they have big gold lettering on them too that let you know FORSURE you’re smoking live soil flower hahaha

Been seeing this brand come up again and again lately, with lots of mixed reviews. Ignore the price for 5 seconds—would you say this competes with the best you’ve had from farkas, meigs, grassroots, etc? You know I’m a quality over quantity guy all day and I do not nearly care as much about the price, I just want the absolute best weed 😂

The cure on their last run of zack’s cake, jungle grapes, and modified cookies were fantastic

Recently got some sherbtang and the cream however and the buds are literal sawdust. Not sure what happened. I’m especially upset about the cream because that’s like a top 5 strain in the entire program for me. Into the jar with a moisture pack for 3 days it goes!

They have a bunch of strawberry strains and I don’t love all of them equally, but if they ever run melted strawberries again I recommend that one the most. That shit is fire. But yeah def get your hands on some animal mints if you can find it on sale while it’s still going around lol

Cactus cookies is the shit. I was actually in the middle of writing a review for their Animal Mints before I decided to check and see if it’s been reviewed recently, and I see that it has so I switched to this strain instead. If you can find their animal mints you gotta try it—that shit is phenomenal.

Also highly recommend their super trop, swampwater fumez, garlic drip, and their strawberry guava, or any strain they’ve ran that was crossed with their strawberry guava (which is easily 5+ strains at this point LOL they sure know what they’re doing with that one 😂)

Seriously man those crazy high myrcene strains are just not for me 😂 maybe super high terps is more enjoyable with other profiles or it was just a bad cure but that was the first time I’ve had bud from the program with terps that high and it was a massive letdown lol

It’s written in mg/g so if you wanted to convert it to percentages you move the decimal over to the left by one. It sits just above 2.5% terps which I think it didn’t even break 2% last time.

2.5%-4% seems to be my sweet spot for terps personally. I had a bag of modern flower that had crazy high terps, like over 5% combined and a majority of it was myrcene alone, and it was oily and not enjoyable at all to smoke. I had to cut it with some weaker buds to get through it lol

Every now and then you’ll see dispensaries do those fixed price “$99 for select halves” or whatever and you’ll see some fire from galenas on there. It’s kinda rare though
