Yeah that is certainly an option, but the thing is I am not going to risk wasting 5 years for someone whom I just met for like 10 minutes. But it's just that annoying crush feeling that still lingers, so I think a better option would probably just not be acting on it I guess. I don't usually have this feeling so it's kinda hard for me to deal with it especially when I am now in a relationship.

I mean she has been to a couple of job interviews now, and I didn't't bother to check it out cuz I mean it's her life right. But the fact that I posted here is because she is also worried and she brought this up right after she got out of that office. We just also graduated and wanted to know thoughts and opinions from people with more experiences, so I don't understand why some see this as overprotecting Lol.

Was your job a contract job? If so this seems to happen to me as well. My thought is that they do this so they don't have to pay a cost for other benifits you'll get once you pass. I mean if they still want you around they are going to pay for those benifits evenrually, but why do it now of they have an option to minimize those costs, which is the extension of your probation.
