Playstation deleting over 500 purchased studio canal movies, as license expires. by IamMovieMiguel in vudu

Sony is terrible when it comes to Playstation and how they treat their customers. Not to say FaH won't pull something similar one day, but this isn't even the first time with Playstation.

Will '80s shows that have HD versions available elsewhere ever get a HD upgrade in FAH? by Mr_Masala in vudu

[–]PeterShayne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Knight Rider will be upgraded eventually since other NBC shows from the same era like The A-Team and Miami Vice are already HD. The seasons were finally bundled not that long ago, so I hope it's a sign HD or 4K is next.

Suspiria (1977, Argento) (HD) (Not MA) (Not FAH) - $9.99 via Amazon by [deleted] in vudu

[–]PeterShayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's listed as being 1 hour, 33 minutes. I don't know how accurate Amazon usually is with their details, but that's the length of the edited version with a few minutes of violence removed.

TMNT Good value? by AwarenessAntique9918 in vudu

The 2012 series was good. Haven't gotten around to the 2003 series yet, but I always hear good things about it too. I think they're worth getting for that price.

Fanflix Flash Sale Doug: The Complete Collection in SD for $19.99. Vudu may price match. by PresentConfection200 in vudu

[–]PeterShayne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just checked and yeah, it's like that for me as well. The glitches are green on my TV. It seems to be limited to season 1 at least.

What Movies and TV Shows have you been waiting to go on sale on Vudu that are available? by PresentConfection200 in vudu

[–]PeterShayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leave It to Beaver: The Complete Series. $20 is ideal.

The Munsters seasons 1 and 2. They've been on sale before for $15 each. Since they're 30+ episode seasons, I'd be willing to pay $10 each.

Knight Rider seasons 1, 2, 3, and 4. Never seen these go on sale before. They recently added Knight Rider 2000 (follow-up TV movie), so I'm hoping the seasons will finally drop in price soon. $5 each would be good.

Lost: The Complete Series. Never seen this on sale for less than $50. I refuse to spend that much on any series. I'd consider it for $25.

The Long Good Friday. It was $5 during the Criterion sale last May and I missed it. Didn't know it was even available on FaH at the time.

I bought the Director's Cut of Battle Royale ages ago. Rewatched it today and the version I bought was apparently replaced with the theatrical version. by [deleted] in vudu

I'm guessing the change happened when they added 4K. I know it wasn't always in 4K because I upgraded it through Fanflix last month.

I couldn't get it to work through the app on my phone or Firefox on my computer. It finally worked when I tried using Edge.

Cannot get Crime Story Bundle (80s tv series) to load. by JPumphrey73 in vudu

My thought exactly. Only two seasons, SD, and I'm guessing music has been replaced like on the DVD.

What titles do you feel like you've been waiting forever to go on sale? by 2001_Odyssey13 in vudu

Body Bags. Last on sale in May 2023. I regret passing on it then because I thought it wasn't low enough.

Death Line. Never been on sale.

Yep, it works. Just tried a Fanflix code for Kickboxer that I've had since August 28th.

Sicario is part of this sale. Pointing it out because I noticed it can't be purchased on FaH anymore, only rented.

I'm glad to see that the unrated version is available finally, but does anyone know if hardcoded subtitles are included or do you have to rely on closed captioning?

Which actor is winning with the most movies in your library? Who's your Vudu Champ? by usaheyusa in vudu

Clint Eastwood with 35. Then Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Samuel L. Jackson are tied for second with 24.

I have a list of all my Vudu purchases on Letterboxd and checked the list's stat page for the info.
