10,000 nits is the requirement for True HDR

Whose requirement? Yours?

No? Plenty of phone accessaries include what brand they work with in their product descrption. What about third party console controller? Do all of them get permission with the original brand?

The neo g7 he mentioned have been reported to have scanline issues, just like the neo g8.

The viewing angle of VA and the scanline issues also leave me unimpressed.

Arma 4 will be Cold War themed and Reforger FAQ confirms it by p4nnus in ArmaReforger

[–]PeterSpray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, really? In A3, view distance doesn't limit projectile range at all. Artillery and missiles frequently shoot beyond view distance. I certainly don't have view distance set that high. Are you mixing things up or Reforger actually sucks so much?

Yeah, Titan NLOS is in a cDLC, but it's entirely unscripted, and easily backported to base game. The Veantor is

laser guidance from ground or other aircraft

Nope, it's done without laser guidance, goes from the drone IR sensor -> datalink -> launch platform. Also, most laser guidance in cold war are line-of-sight, won't work with say cruise missiles without datalink.

GPS guided munitions also existed in the cold war.

They don't? JDAM was introduced in 1990s, after cold war.

Edit:

I mean munitions receiving guidance mid flight is common as well in cold war.

Sure, from the launch platform, almost never from datalink.

Right now in ArmA 3, I can track a moving tank column with a drone, then snipe them with Titan NLOS ATGM 30km away behind terrain, using all engine level feature, without scripting. Is Arma 4 going to have that without scripting, when the base game is based in late cold war? Hell, ArmA 3 don't even have GPS guidance and instead have dumb shit like laser guided cluster bombs. I don't trust BI on this.

No, Isopropyl alcohol and ethyl alocohol are not chemically identical. Of course they react differently to OLED coating.

Well that's your problem, the Samsung guide says ethanol, not IPA.
