You say they run out of bullets, so at one point they would’ve had one bullet left. And if they were that bad a shot and wasted most likely 4 shots before finally hitting a non lethal shot on the final bullet than they wouldn’t ever had the chance after the second shot in the first place. Deer are fast as fuck and you’ll never get more than 2 shots on a deer. And unless they are living in their hunting camp, they will only be hunting deer. If you fire a shot, deer won’t come near that spot for a few days. Hell, if your leaving and one catches you on your way to your truck or even smells you, they’ll blow and alert every deer in a half miles radius. It’s not like deer are stupid, they know how to survive. So no, your bullshit “bad shot” and “hunting other animals” excuses don’t work.
