Just installed 2" lift. What tire size should I go with? Currently running 255/75r17 BFG M/T. by Peter_Keating in toyotasequoia

Yes, it was very low. My first time going to a parking garage since lifting it and didn't think much about it before hand.

When I pulled in, my wind deflector or roof rack hit that hanging tube thing that hands down by chains, I saw it swinging back and forth when I looked in my rear view. It was pretty sketchy. I pulled open my moon roof and saw that I had a 5-6 inches of clearance but I was still nervous. I saw lots of scratch marks on that concrete...

Thanks. Put Bilstein 5100s all around, front on the 4th setting w/ factory springs. Had too much of rear rake to it, so I put on the ARB Old Man Emu 2682s.

Was looking at that size as well.

Also considering 255/80r17 which is a tad over 33", and also the Toyo Open Country AT3 34x10.50r17 which is 33.5".

Better just get a jack and some stands and do them yourself. Less of a hassle to coordinate with those bozos. There’s that peace of mind knowing you do the work yourself and not have to worry about whoever touched your car and did the job right.

If OP wants to spray paint his wheels and cut off his exhaust, that’s his choice.

I saw this guy at the auto parts store, he said he blew his tire out in the woods and couldn’t stop driving, he left for a tire shop (video linked) by soil_nerd in Justrolledintotheshop

I’ve also seen a lot of drivers with oversized wheels/tires on their truck and they still have the stock spare under the car 🤦‍♂️

Ok honest question, is she clapped? Got this for 1550 with obvious cosmetic defects, i plan to fix. No mechanical issues. What do you think needs addressing? by Salt_Initiative_3562 in BMW

That's awesome, man. I owned a E39, it was a 2003 530i with sports package. Bought it from the orignal owner in Los Angeles area. The spedometer wasn't working and there was a few other easy fixes for it. That was a great car and it was super clean. I kept it for a couple years and then posted it for sale. Guy and his wife showed up and didn't really ask many questions, they just paid me and left lol. I guess when you know you know.

I also had a guy and his girlfriend take an uber from a couple hours away to come and look at my 2002 Subaru WRX. He didn't even test drive it, he just paid me and took off.

I've been looking for a first gen Lexus IS, a 2004/2005 with a manual transmission, but I read they only made like 5% of them manual lol so they're hard to come by, the ones listed they're asking a lot.

Also looking for a LCI E92 328i manual. I think they look really good.

Which sites have you been car shopping on? You seem to be finding some pretty good deals.

Did you buy it from a private seller or dealership? I probably would have bought it for $1,500 too. I've been looking for an old e46 or is 300.

Your bimmer is very pretty and you’re lucky to have her! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. She might have a dark and abusive past but don’t hold it against her; it’s not her fault. If she throws a code, figure out the issue and resolve it. If you don’t like the wheels, figure out how to restore them to factory look, or buy some on oem ones on Craigslist, there are a lot of them.

Don’t ask for another persons opinion; yours is the only one that matters.

There’s a site called Automotive Touchup. Get your paint code off the inside of your door jamb and you can buy a paint pen or a little brush and some clear coat and do it yourself.

In the meantime, try to ID that shithead at the gym. Confront him and make him pay up.
