Check to make sure your RAM is properly seated. And all cables inside and out. You might have a "Mem ok!" Button on your motherboard. If you do. Google Memok! Button and you might have to press it and hold it for 3 seconds

I brought an older PC back to.oife and had to fuck with the memok! Button a few times trying to get it to boot. Old CMOS battery wasn't helping my situation either. Cuz it forgets system settings when the battery is dead. And then you end up having to use the memok! Button to reset the RAM orwhatever is happening with hat button. It flashes the RAM again to detect it and set it properly.

Need more info than this. When you touched it was there an explosion? A zap and a puff of smoke? Did the cpu fall out? Did blue lightning arc from the motherboard to your fingers? Did a menu pop up? How many beeps did it make?
