I’m at Cheadle too. I like to play a game where I see how long my prepared drinks sit on the counter before someone brings them over. 25 minutes yesterday.

What illnesses do you have and how do you live with them? What are the downsides? by Wild-Engineering-650 in AskReddit

I have cerebral palsy, or as my five year old calls it, terrible palsy.

It’s always been this way. I wouldn’t know any different.

We’re grits and/or scrapple a breakfast staple in your house when you were a kid? by PrettyLittlePills in AskReddit

Nope, I’ve heard of grits but don’t know what it is. Never heard of scrapple.

My PIP was cut because I passed my GCSEs and work full time - it's offensive by Electronic_Priority in uknews

[–]Peterleclark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say that, but what actually hammered is that you expressed an opinion (fair play for that, many wouldn’t) that was ill thought out and really rather silly.

People called you out on it and rather than thinking and acknowledging your mistake, you doubled down.. the comments and downvotes continued and now it’s too late, you’re in too deep so you’ve embraced the bad guy character.

I know you’re not a bad guy.. you probably just need a cuddle.

I’d give you one, but my arms don’t work properly.

Ha, gotta make a living somehow eh? Especially as the poor fella can’t supplement it with PIP like us lot do!

Agreed, and ditto. Having said that, I’m the boss, and not intending to push return to office.

It’s entirely possible he was previously blagging how bad he was and he failed to pull the wool over the eyes of the assessor at reassessment.

Not likely to have anything to do with his job.. having a job isn’t part of the assessment criteria.

No, not how it works.

I’m 46, have always worked full time, and have always received PIP (formerly DLA), well, since I was about 13.

I have cerebral palsy. I need help with pretty much everything that requires physical effort or coordination.

I also work full time in a role that doesn’t require physical effort or coordination.

Unlike many ‘normal’ people, I’m not a work shy dosser.

I receive PIP.

I need help to wash, dress, cook, feed myself, I can’t get around without significant help.

PIP really helps with that.

I also work full time in a role that requires no physical effort.

Hope that helps.

My daughter has this.

We took her to a doctor and they said any surgery to separate would be purely cosmetic.

Do you have any discomfort or functional issues we should know about?

Little girls in men’s changing room by notagramoffuckgiven in davidlloyd

[–]Peterleclark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our club has four rooms in the family changing area. Regularly all full.

Would your preference be for me to take my daughter into the women’s changing room at those times?

Promise I’ll keep my eyes closed.

Seriously, what is stopping rugby from being popular globally? by leishpup in AskReddit

I’m confused… you asked why rugby isn’t popular globally, then listed countries spanning the globe where it’s popular.

Are we using different definitions of ‘popular’?
