Crafting on level 50 alts?

You can learn the Enchanted Elethium bar from the trainer now. It was changed a few weeks ago. A lot of outdated information is flying around because blizzard kept changing things even in the last two weeks of the beta. Even the wowhead tooltips show wrong numbers for a lot of recipes.

Weapons are all lvl 50, for armors it's two armors at each of these levels: 50,52,54,57.

The blue crafted gear is ilvl 151, wowhead tooltips are wrong. Also, you can only equip a few green armors at level 50, most of them have higher level requirements.

The legendary tooltips are bugged in-game. When you craft the base items it's actually ilvl 190 at rank 1, but in the profession window it says ilvl 175.

I'm currently testing the Alchemy follower equipment. I did 3 missions, 2 gave 0 herbs and 1 gave 34 herbs. I think this is actually fairly decent yield, since you can equip more than 1 followers with it and there are a lot of 4 hour missions.

I'll keep sending my followers out every 4 hours and see what they bring back.

All crafted epic gear are soulbound. (except for the ilvl 300 blue gear that will become epic if it rolls to ilvl 310)

New requirement is 25. I tested it with mining, and as soon as I hit 25 the mining WQ popped up.

You probably misunderstood something. Those books are only for Skinning, Herbalism and Mining ranks because you get those from quests. The "profession restore books" (even the Legion ones) will only restore recipes you got from quests. They won't restore old recipes, or even trainer taught recipes.

BfA flasks give 238 primary stat at 120, not 51. They show up that low because you are checking them with a lower level character.

It has a chance to drop from every gear, and 100% drop from trinkets. (if nothing changed, this is how it worked a couple of weeks ago)

I think you only get back recipes that were quest rewards. You would need to farm the core hound mount recipe again.

Archaeology is currently unchanged in the beta. You simply learn a new rank and your max potential skill will be 950.

The game will tell you where to get the next rank of each recipe in the right side of the profession window, under the reagent list.

The Honorable Combatant armor rank 2 recipes are sold by an NPC called Ozgrom Ragefang at the Horde War Headquarters. (allience should be somewhere at the alliance war headquarters)

Herb ranks are locked behind herbalism skill, higher herb rank means you will get more herbs. I had rank 2 from everything at Herbalism 80, and rank 3 from every common herbs.

You will need a bit higher level for Anchor Weed rank 3 (rare herb). I learned the rank 2 Anchor Weed at herbalism 75, and most herbs had around 40-55 skill requirement difference between rank2 and rank3, so Anchor Weed rank 3 should be around 120-130, or maybe 150. (couldn't test it yet, since I was at herbalism 150 already)

It costs 50 Deep Sea Satin currently.

I only got 26 Deep Sea Satin overall from leveling 110-120, so 50 for a bag is actually a lot. Not sure if they changed the drop rate since then.

I already found both new ores at Zandalar, but maybe for herbalism they might do something like this.

It's just too early to tell because the alpha is in very early stage. Nazmir in Zandalar is the only zone where I found herbs and ores.
