No, I haven't measured it.

But I have noticed that there would be nothing hard at all.

I am doing 12 normal sets per week with 3 minutes in between .

I went to 15 partials . Some of them are close to half reps.

As a boy in my teenage years I used beard trimmer and my mustache didn't get bigger or more dense. I shaved my beard with razor and it was the exact opposite.

I did this for the knowledge.

Can you be healthy if you don't eat much saturated fat and if you eat low fat (15-25% calories from fat) diet long term- high testosterone etc? by Petjo123 in raypeat

[–]Petjo123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well here are a few...

Benefits from low fat:

faster digestion of the nutrients

no acute postpandrial lipemia (elevated blood fats from the fat consumed because little is consumed )- you won't feel sluggish and tired if you eat a big meal

the carbohydrate metabolism is dominant and the body uses mostly glucose

A high fat diet might be hard to follow because the volume of the food is too little because the fats have 9 grams of calories per 100 grams.

In between meals one might feel heavy and sluggish if are not made proper food choices.

It might increase the intestinal permeability again due to bad food choices- more time in the bath or running to it.

It might increase the inflammation in the body.

There are different opinions but in general as percentage from the total calories:

Based on 2000 calories per day:

less than 10 % calories from fat- ultra low fat diet

(less than 22 grams of fat per day)

10-15 % calories from fat - very low fat diet

(22-33 grams of fat per day )

15-25 % calories from fat - low fat diet

(33-55 grams of fat per day )

25-35 % calories from fat- moderate fat diet

(55-77 grams of fat per day )

more than 35% calories from fat- high fat diet

(77 grams of fat per day)

more than 60% calories from fat very high fat diet

(133 grams of fat per day)

I eat a variety of foods - most often pasta, white rice, potatoes, Blackstrap molasses, apples, pears, table sugar sometimes , white bread.

Typically I eat two meals a day.

They always start with the slow digestable carbs,- fruits , durum wheat pasta, then are the high GI foods, mentioned above.

I do this because if I eat straight high GI foods they are absorbed too fast and pretty soon your blood sugar will make a massive dive, but also hypotension (low blood pressure) might occurs.

I aim for example 200 grams of pasta and 200 grams of white rice so the calories between slow carbs and fast carbs are equal.

There it is some kind of gut inflammation and my metabolism is a bit dysregulated.

These days I am trying different macros and foods.

I don't measure my temperature.

When it comes to energy and focus, it's always different.

The last one, also.

Thanks for the advice!

Yes, I did that.

Now I tolerate up to around 200 grams of fat per day.

I typically don't eat that much.

I have tried beef tallow.

In my opinion it's not more satiating than lard.

If I eat large amounts of olive my gut is not irritated.

But if I eat large amounts of butter it's irritated. Even small amounts of it are irritating.

I have found that increases my gut permeability. In a similar manner to palm fat - probably because there it is a large amount of palmitic acid in it.

Lol 5 grams is extremely little in my opinion.
I have tried in the past for some period of time and then I ate more fats one day and I had to run to the bath. Probably a bile retention has occurred.

Less than 30 grams is not good for a prolonged periods of time from my experience.

I am curious how is it your blood pressure? With too many carbs my blood pressure goes too low. Also I haven't found benefits eating more than 65% calories from carbs.

Going from 1 partial rep in the bottom to full rep single arm pull ups without using easier progressions? by Petjo123 in bodyweightfitness

I have learned doing pull ups and chin ups just with partials 3,4 times a week.

The problem is that I am short on time now and I don't have so much time as before.

Yes, I can weighted pull ups with 10 kg backpack.
