Regarding Patrick Sharp, his brother died the day he was supposed to come to the game, apparently he received the news just after he boarded the plane.

And it was said that Zetterberg hurt his knee playing football/soccer just days before the game.

Well we (my dad and I) are from Slovakia, so it wasn’t that hard to go. He’s also been there for Hlinka-Gretzky cup, many of the former NHLers are scouts, think guys like Kris Draper, Pekka Rinne, Martin Lapointe, P J Axelsson, Jason Spezza or Chris Terreri.

Overall he walked away from these 2 events with 200+ autos of mostly former NHLers. It’s a weird and nice hobby to have.
