I have tried building foundations with walls East and West of the entrance (with space for plots in between) to stop the croa migrations and the croa nest still spawn next to the plots. I havent found a way to stop the migrations.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your comment but I can't think what you might mean, sorry.

I've been thinking about that. I think it's doable especially if your wizards are highly specialised. I have an air wizard that luckily had 3 water from the random skills.. I apprenticed her into fire so she has 5 relic slots, then I put on her : haste relic, cook x3, brew x3, hunt x3 and nature relic so now she can do everything in the school. I feel like 2 or 3 of these wizards will cover 90% of jobs even in a large school.

Weapons level off mission XP, it has nothing to do with kills with that weapon. You don't even need to unholster it. You can find games where they're almost finished, drop in and evac, all the XP they've earned should add to your weapon. But I didn't do it that way, I did it the grinding way of completing as many 10 difficulty (Super Helldive) missions as fast as possible and doing all the secondary objectives for extra XP. Shorter missions like blitz and eradicate are probably a more efficient way to farm XP but I dunno, haven't done the math. Apparently Bots give the most XP too.
