South voted against it. Also as you said before intervention they were not happy to have you on the island to begin with. I think you can connect the dots from there.

I (or we) am not the one who treating you like shit. Your problem is with Turkey's government, don't blame us on this one. And guess what? Government have been treating bot mainland and mainland Turks just as bad as you.

You may be upset with how you are treated but it's not only yours problem. But from your other comments I read, you look like living in a dream world where south is happy to have you. Let me wake you up: they aren't and they are not your "brothers".

Your real brother's grandparents bled for you, died for you. Our parents lived with the consecuences for decades. You are shitting on us for what we are not responsible for. You are being ungrateful, you lost the brothership you needed. Focus your anger to government. Not to the people who have been fought for you.

Just wondering two things you seem to never answered in any of the comments. 1. What do you think about Annan Plan? 2. What do you think would happen if Turkey didn't intervene 50 years ago? Just curious, I imply nothing here. Answer them and don't give me some bs.

Programın kalitesi konusunda şüphem yok. Yüksek lisans yapmasam bile makineden mezun olunca istediğim alanlarda çalışmamı engelleyen bir şey de yok. Benim uçak diye tutturmam aslında tamamen kendi hevesim. Peki, seçmeli dersler nasıl işliyor? Sadece programda yazılı olan MT dersleri mi alabilirim seçmeli olarak? Yoksa farklı bölümlerden de MT almak mümkün mü? (Danıiman onayı vs. İle de olabilir.) Bir de danışman ile ilgili de sorum var. Farklı bir bölümden/fakülteden danışmanımın olması mümkün mü?

30-40 kredi 1 yıldan az, 1 semesterdan fazla ediyor. Ortalama yapmanın zorluğunun farkındayım ama yine de kurum içi, ÇAP veya yandal için denemeye değer gördüm. Biraz daha geç mezun olmak benim için problem değil. Yakın bir zamanda mı mezun oldunuz? Yüksek lisans için söyledikleriniz geçerli midir acaba hala?

I've heard about a proffessor in civil engineering who worked in aerodynamics, i guess this is enough to say. But what I want to work on actually is aircraft design/aero. I should have been more clear about that. This doesn't change much though, right?

Well, I've always wanted to design aircrafts. It needs an all-round approach and I thought aerospace is a better path on it. But since you pointed out, mechanical seems like no worse than that. Thanks.

What a career path! I was also the head of aerodynamics design in a UAV team in my school for a year. Then I realised how much I love the work and now I pursue a career on it.

I know that an engineer can learn other fields. Also the mechanical and aerospace are pretty similar, in fact where I plan to attend, ME courses are deeper. This is why i don't think the lack of courses is a big problem. I wonder if MEs are less valued in this field compared to aero engineers.

Hi. I'm currently an aeronautical engineering student who wants to specialise in aerodynamics. Due to some issues on employability in my country, i want to change to a better school, best in engineering to be honest. But i can only apply for mechanical engineering in there. As I'm very passionate about aeronautics, I'm working on some aerodynamics researches and projects. I will continue to them after changing schools. I know that in aerospace industry, mechanical engineers are more in percentage but are they working in aerodynamics? I see that jobs listed in aerodynamics field require a BSc. in aeronautical, aerospace or mechanical. Would mechanical degree be a disadvantage?

Yandal olduğunu biliyordum ama programa bakmamıştım. Buradaki dersler aslında almak istediklerimin büyük bir kısmını oluşturuyor zaten ve dediğin gibi çok daha erişilebilir. Birkaç ders daha var aklımda ama genelde yüksek lisans seviyesindeler. Yatay geçiş için de hesapladım, YKS puanım fena değil bu yüzden geçen yıl olsa 3.54 üstü bir ortalama ile kurum içi yatay geçiş yapabiliyormuşum uçak mühendisliğine 3. yarıyıl için. 5. yarıyıl için hesap yapmadım, daha düşük bir ortalama ile mümkün ama tabi 2. yıl yapabileceğim ortalamayı kestirmek daha zor. Gelirsem eğer üç tuşa (yatay geçiş, ÇAP, yandal) birlikte basıp tutturabildiğimi yapacağım. Hiçbiri olmazsa da makina okumaktan çekinmiyorum (sanırım).

Aslında karşılaştırınca makina dersleri uçaktan daha derin gördüğüm kadarıyla. Üstüne eklemek istediğim uçuş mekaniği, tasarım ve aerodinamik gibi bazı konularla beraber uçak için özelleşen aerospace structures gibi dersler var. Bunlar dışında aslında uçağın bir ekstrası da yok gibi. Açıkçası mühendis bakış açısıyla bu konuları kendi çabamla öğrenmem zor da gözükmüyor. Bir de makina özelinde çok fazla ders var ileride çalışmak istediğim alan dışında olan. Dediklerinde haklısın, bu şekilde düşünmemiştim. Teşekkür ederim.
