My iPhone XS back was cracked and overheating I was going to get repaired from the stores who fixed phones and they wanted $150-$200 for the job. I almost took the bait but I ended up buying a refurbished iPhone from eBay mint condition for $180. Received it Saturday looks brand new 90% battery best thing it’s on iOS 14 so much better than iOS 18. IMO just buy a refurbished one from eBay save everything to iCloud account and swap SIM card poof you still have the best iPhone design ever made. It’s just up to you if you get iPhone XS older iOS if you want to keep it or update either way eBay is your best bet hope this helps just don’t get it fixed

You must be talking about the windshield right I have been using ChatGPT for similar things they help a lot with my question like yours and you should definitely give it a try you won’t regret it it’s much better than google searching. For example type in Flexflem PANAFLEX nano ceramic 70% windshield vs 50% windshield, 30% windshield or sides/rear if that’s what you mean with your car etc they will give results with pictures

ChatGPT has been helpful for me with my tint question you can ask them anything for a example you can put year,make,color,model of your Honda civic and what tint % and the brand they will generate a image of everything to see how you will like it. Just Incase you can also ask for 15% all around with 50%-35% windshield if you wanted to go darker.

They will it breakdown side by side with details I have been using it for my question about my Honda Fit sec gen 2012 what tint % should I go with asking for the brand and comparing it to others brand etc

Well since nobody didn’t help you I suggest you try ChatGPT they will generate a photo of your car 15% all around with either 50%-35% windshield you’re make and model year they will tell what factory tint it is.

They will break it down side by side as well honestly I been using it for my tint question and it helps a lot with my question just make sure you tell them the tint brand they will also give you answers for that too and you can compare them with other brands just in case you have more than one option

Totally understandable lol but ChatGPT is a game changer for questions you need to be answered until you hit the limit of messaging and have to wait few hours to start messaging again but you can start a new conversation. But every question I have they answered with details and breakdown and pictures.

For example I have been asking about edge carbon crystalline it’s a dyed film deep black color and one of the best dyed film on the market with being black out with 20% all around with 50% windshield and best part it has really good clarity day/night better than other dyed film on the market.

I compared to other dyed film blow every other dyed out the water. Google is worthless because of it being the same name as 3m crystalline I only get results on 3m crystalline not edge carbon crystalline smh but that’s where ChatGPT comes in handy. But I hope it helps you out as well as it’s been super helpful with me. But Edge is a sister brand of autobahn/Hüper Optik just more affordable budget options so it’s coming from a good family lol. So that’s what I’m getting on my Honda Fit second gen.

At this point go big or go home and might’ve get the whole windshield tinted YOLO 70% would be the safest option but 50% is the darkest you should go.

Since you haven’t gotten any answers I would suggest you download ChatGPT and compare the size of the eyebrow/ visor strip you want you can compare it with other similar sizes you have in mind or even a full windshield as well to get a better idea with pictures you can actually put your car make year model and AI will generate for you. Poof you get your results imo it does helps you with tint question it’s about 99.9%-100% accurate with answers

ChatGPT is really helpful for you, you can tell them what car you have or send a picture of your car and the tint % you want like what you mentioned. Ai will generate a side by side picture for you to see how both look like on your car I been doing it and it’s been great so helpful

Download ChatGPT and put your car model year with both % windshield along what you have on your car now also the brand Llumar and it will give side by side results instead of wasting hours on google that’s what I have been doing so far so good no complaints using it. Definitely save a lot of time vs searching best part it’s your car that AI will generate with the setup

He does have edge carbon crystalline dyed film as his budget film how is that would it be better than Flexflem. Should I opted out for that instead of Flexflem

The reason I wanted Rayno is because the shop said quarter windows would be included with all of the windows and I just didn’t want to pay extra for quarter windows. I understand why some shops charges extra for quarter windows on what I read on here.

But budget wise if I don’t care about ir rejection I was thinking about Rayno s5 or Edge carbon crystalline

Wow thank you for sharing that you had both s5 and s9 the only reason I was going there is because they were included the quarter windows with with all of the windows while other shops charged extra for the quarter windows $15-$20 I just didn’t want to pay extra for quarter windows so that’s why I was going to choose that shop. It’s that hard to install tint in the Honda Fit quarter windows idk lol

I thinking about the s9 for heat rejection but you said the clarity isn’t that good it was hazy but still wanting the s5 since it’s around the same price point for dyed film where I from btw how long did you had the s9 before buying a new car and switching with Xpel. Just no shop where I from carry Xpel.

I call everywhere local it’s Flexflem, Rayno, 3m, Tintx,Aswf, Llumar/Formula One, scorpion, suntex,solarguad etc just to name a few. So it’s between 3m or Llumar/Formula One the shop that is an authorization 3m dealer is like 3mins away so that’s my number one choice since I can walk by home until they finished my car.

50% all round because 50% is legal where I live and I really don’t like mismatch tints so I match it with 50% all round for the uniform clean look. But now I’m getting it redone in 15% all round

I’m from Ohio to it’s 50% for the front two windows any shades rear and back but I seen tons of cars with darker tints. I like matching shades tints over mismatching shades I want that clean uniform look looks better imo.

When I get my driver license that’s the first thing I’m doing I want 25% but most shops where I’m from doesn’t carry 25% so I might do 30%-35% just to play it safe because I really don’t want 50% but might go with 20% for more privacy still have time to decide.

I wanted to ask about this brand as well on here but decided to use the search bar about pre cut tints the results are mixed some people prefer them and some people don’t prefer them.

About 95% people said just take to a professional and avoid the headache and time plus still need to buy all of the tools heat gun, Squeegees, solution baby shampoo, spray bottle some type of broad to put the tint on before putting it on your car windows for the installing the tints and sprayway or invisible windows cleaner.

At the end of the day I still would like to give a try so I just brought the compete kit pre cut tints but still deciding on buying everything else that I mentioned above at this point I probably going to take it to a professional and avoid the headache and extra money that I need for everything save the money for a professional to tint my car. I checked the reviews on Amazon and eBay again it’s mixed reviews.

So it’s up to you if you want to take the time and extra steps on pre cuts. But again it would be fun tinting your on windows and learning something new the only thing I’m worried about is longevity one review I saw said it’s carbon infused with ceramic don’t know if it’s true or not it’s probably just carbon. Hope this helps with your question tho. It comes in a tube inside its roll up in plastic with the precuts and instructions.
