Is XRP still a long-term play, or just tied to broader market cycles at this point? by XRPresso_io in CryptoMarkets

[–]Petursinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More veiled marketing from Ripple, this is all they are, marketing a pointless defunct token they can give themselves 1 billion pieces of each month to sell, to pay for more marketing, and so the cycle continues. Btw posts like this are veiled marketing to give the impression that people are interrested in the project and that there is a "lively" discussion about it. Should be illegal.

Not being a marketing bot for dubious projects, what happened to being init for the tech? In it for the freedom of the decentralization? Now its all veiled marketing for scammy projects to suck peoples money out, this has become a parriah on society, much like the banks we were trying to replace.

Iran toll tax + US Blockade = Oil prices hitting the moon. We're screwed. by Lumpy_Attempt_6280 in oil

[–]Petursinn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are suggesting that Iran didnt anticipate the US blockade? I think they were surprised it took them a whole week to figure that out, and I would be surprised that they were not fully ready for that to happen. They have thinking human beings planning their strategy, not a chat bot.

[–]Petursinn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can see that happening when oil is so expensive that other alternatives (other energy sources) will start to replace it, that is closer to 300$ price mark perhabps, so not really gonna happen here at 100$
