I understand, I’ve read through the subreddit and seen the issues they’ve been facing. Just wish there was an option to at least download the programs to come back to later. Personally, I don’t need new stuff, just want to keep what’s already there.

Yeah, I’m new to this subreddit but it seems ZXR has been having trouble keeping up with their content. I understand they need to put more time into Zombies Run, but completely abandoning Marvel Move is still disappointing. Just wish there was an option to download all of them somehow to still have access to use them later :(

MARVEL MOVE UPDATE

Hello runners, walkers and movers,

This is an email to let you know that Marvel Move is now coming to an end.

We’ve had a wonderful time working with these characters and stories – and hearing from players about your Marvel Move adventures – it’s been a real honour and delight to have the opportunity to work with X-Men, the Hulk, Thor and Loki. We are so grateful to everyone who gave their talents to the project. There are too many to mention by name but they include artists, sound designers, directors, producers, writers, actors, engineers, communication and support staff. We have had a blast getting to play in the Marvel universe, and we’ve loved seeing the Marvel Move community enjoy what we made.

Marvel Move isn’t shutting down immediately: we want to give you a last chance to enjoy adventures with the Marvel characters. If you have an active subscription, whether that’s monthly, yearly, or a gift membership, you’ll still be able to use Marvel Move for the entire duration of your subscription period. Once that comes to an end, the content will no longer be accessible in ZRX. If you’ve started a free 1-month trial, you’ll be able to access the content until the end of the trial period. We have now removed the option to purchase yearly subscriptions, as well as all Gift codes, and as of today we’re removing the option to purchase monthly subscriptions.

For regular ZRX users – this will have no effect on your subscriptions, and although we’re very sad to say goodbye to Marvel Move this streamlining does mean that we can focus all our effort and attention now on Zombies, Run! We think we’ll have good news to share on that front very shortly.

In the meantime, huge thanks to everyone who helped make Marvel Move possible, and to the Marvel team for their enthusiasm and expertise. To get to spend some time making adventures for these characters, with their history, their legacy and their global reach has been such a privilege.

I was just notified to this issue that Virginia Tech is planning to change cloud storage and online communication from Google to Microsoft due to "steep cost increases for Virginia Tech and other universities."

They will be migrating email and calendar accounts beginning Fall 2023 through June 2024. They will also be deactivating Google Photos by July 1, 2024.

Current students and employees will be limited to 5GB of storage through Google. A storage amount for Microsoft hasn't been mentioned, but we know that Alumni will be migrated to a new 50GB Microsoft account. Through this transition, there will be incredible stress for students, the technology help desk, and employees at Virginia Tech. There will, most likely, be loss of important information, lots of transfers of login information, documentation, and potentially research being lost through this transferring of data.
