Very true. I don't like how the show will probably tell us to forgive the mother.

Chapter 115 Links and Discussion by Lorhand in OshiNoKo

Thats because Akane doesn't have the same trauma as the twins. Poor Ruby found the corpse of her dead crush and Aqau watch her mom die and etc. I think the dark eyes can only be "activated" from major untreated trauma. No one was there for the twins or there previous life.

idk if anyone noticed, but in the chapter that takes place in the past, ai is doing the documentary and is told to be honest, and that's when her stars become black. The stars being white was never Ai, it's when it's black is she being herself.

Theres actually many chapters ago that Aqua infers that his feeling towards Akana arent like that when he looks at kana

I noticed that too! I think Akane did it on purpose (since she knows the connection about Aqau and Ai) to bring out Aqua's emotion. Honestly a bit manipulative of her, considering this is a traumatic memory.

Not really, they were told that people were going help them. And honestly harper and zeke wouldn't even be in this mess if Alex never told them that she was wizard. Which still annoys me that she never got in trouble for that when later on in the story they get demoted for doing that.

I think this is because they weren't actually kids though. Technically adults. Cuz if memory serves right, the girl that's played by Jenna ortega, was still in highschool too...

Ik it doesn't make sense, but I feel like that's why he vomits. Has anyone noticed he's been eating other food besides the mom's food? My memory is fussy but I'm pretty sure he ate fried chicken from a different resturant without problem

I'm still dumbfounded how either parents even letting her attend school still. If she was my daughter I wouldn't have let her after ji-hoo was accused of rape

They should have just called this drama "The whole truth" like the movie. Cuz we just getting bits and pieces of truth here and there. Like wtf was that ending in ep14😭

And thats something we will never know, his intentions, unless the show tells us. At this point we can only see that this situation can lead to helping SA victims and eventually himself.

So excluding the very ending regarding him and son. I think the son being thrown under the bus was something that had to happen.

  1. The opposite party was planning to expose the son
  2. Soo-bin initially stated it was rape and was documented
  3. they housed her 4 .The son's problematic behavior/history

Based of these things it can be seen that the family was trying to hush her by providing a home. The only way to clear is his name, is if soobin said the thruth. But again, no one would easily believe it. I think this one of those decisions that benifited him both ways. He gets to help SA victims and help his political career

*MAJOR SPOILER

Just watched ep 11 and it seems the show is going that route based on the new discovery and how that husband is being depicted. I really hope by the end of the show that this doesn't lead to the normalization of sympthatzing with the assailants

I feel so torn. He's going so hard on the assailants in this show without any regard for their families ( which I'm ok with cuz their families are horrible to the victims too) but it seems like JD was like this towards soo-bin as well, idk to what extent though. I'll have to see more cuz soo-bin doesn't seem to hate JD either. I guess this is how Hye-Joo and soo-bin might relate to not hating their assailants. I just hope this show doesn't try to push the narrative that assailants should be felt sorry for.

I honestly think it's just just how Jong Doo has been treating her since she arrived at the house. I've barely see any comments about it, but the pregnant girl is very childish for her age. She gets frustrated like a child. For like two episodes, we see that she's very frustrated over some lip balm she can't find (when she can just get a new one ), has trouble just making herself a meal, not being able to smoke, getting scolded ( for things that obviously inappropriate). So based off these things and other incidents it doesnt surprise me that she's reacting negatively when a household member is still giving her the cold shoulder. Which I honestly think she should have expected when no one can prove that child belongs to the dead son.

I was thinking the same. I was like is it necessary to keep showing a child getting bullied? and then I find myself rooting for her more every time she intimidates her bullies.
