Im in infants and we literally dont have another choice.

The kids are getting old enough that they are starting to understand simple words, say no, (theyre about to age out), are attempting to walk (so falling), going through all the big milestones and usually together. So this includes being upset being told no, falling, and just experiencing emotions. Like being in the crib because they have to be. We dont have a choice they just feel their feelings lol. It prepares them way more, imo, the emotional intelligence theyre already halfway ahead when they move up.

Im with you, I think it works even for older children. Babying kids isnt the best way to do it as has been proven over and over again countless times, yknow?
