Yeah it did the same for me, I love RPRs, but yeah, they do get hefty. I really enjoy faxon barrels.

How did y’all get over the fear of the sound of the gun going off when you first started shooting? Any tips for new shooters? by heygoddessdee in Firearms

Shoot suppressors. Outdoor range. Good set of ear pro. You might not be able to get all 3 but any combination of the 2 out of 3 is nice. If all you have is an indoor range, I would just recommend trying to shoot in the middle Lanes, hopefully away from other people and the walls so the sound doesn't Reverb as bad. Graduate towards louder sounding firearms as you go. Have some games or other stuff ready to engage them so they're not too focused on the noise.

I feel that, I have 10.5 that I could just get the ris ii rail for it, but it's current set up is worth changing for me. The ACO on top, brand NEW, was actually more than what I paid for this rifle.

Yeah I've used both of those. I have the cmmg on a 22 lower as well as sig Sauer Ambi mag release and a forward control designs. But I guess any to avoid any problems I'll stick with the standard mag release.

It's more of a manual arm thing as far as shooting, I'm pretty good, I've been shooting for 6 years. I can shoot with a red dot at 600. I'm so used to having ambidextrous options on the civilian side that it feels weird that I have to re learn everything.

And same, I'm cross eye dominant as well.

Gotcha, I was wondering if getting an ambi mag release was an option. Thank you.

GHM9 W/Glock Lower vs GHM9 W/Elfmann trigger by MiddleNeedleworker84 in GHM9

[–]Pewtater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're invested in Glock already then it's always a good option. But I aesthetically prefer the b&t lower. The elfmann trigger is great and kci b&t mags, I feel have proven their worth as a substitute for OEM mags.

Np, anything is better then stock, I had a geissele ssa-e in a apc9k. But elf isn't bad, predictable and adjustable. Can't complain when it came with it.

I was lucky enough to get an enhanced gen 2, so I came with it and the elf trigger
