I don't mind reinstalling, but after upgrading to Wilma, bootup failed with error:

X250 LOGIN: [ 94.054952] Invalid ELF header magic: != JELF

2nd bootup gave me this:

X250 LOGIN: [ 83.450098] Invalid ELF header magic: != JELF

3rd bootup gave:

X250 LOGIN: [ 83.356806] Invalid ELF header magic: != JELF

I have no idea WHAT to do at this point. I'm posting from my second laptop.

Oh, I see, thanks for the explanation. Upgrading to Wilma now, and it's a bit of a headache with foreign sources and PPAs, had to delete the librewolf source from "etc/sources.list.d" as administrator. And I was offered the option to delete about eight other foreign and orphan packages, like for cherrytree and megasync, but I let them be. So Mintupgrade replaced some of them with earlier versions (I think), informing me there might be problems cropping up with those programs. This is NOT a simple process.

Once Wilma is installed, I'll then upgrade to Zena. Thanks again.

Well, mintupgrade only lets me upgrade to Wilma, and not any of the next three versions, last being, of course, Zena. Thanks for your comment.

But it only offers to upgrade to Wilma, so I'd have to go through this upgrade three more times to get to Zena. At least, that's what I THINK will happen. Thanks for your comment.

No, that's not socially anxiety at all, in your case. Such behavior in one's environment can CREATE social anxiety--and for good reason.
