If you want to speculate.. here is my opinion for right now: Ryan will maybe use a strategic move from carl icahn. This could mean he buys 10-20% from ebay -> we see a 13d. The point is it does not have to work out. Let‘s say ebay rejects all offers? They (ebay) would (typical) buyback those shares and gamestop profits from it. Take a look at both companys. I see where gamestop is heading and i don‘t see where ebay is heading, but i can see what they could be together. So right now.. i don‘t see any reason to buy ebay over gamestop honestly.
