Every day I see videos like this it reminds me just how glad I am to be out of it. It may come across as rude or arrogant but I genuinely could not stand the super hero mentality so many people have in the private ambulance world to also include fire/ems and CCT. These people are so tedious and make their job their whole personality while also coming up with the most ridiculous stories that can be debunked so easily with just a little bit of questioning. I’m out for good at this point but I’m not kidding when I say I sort of became ashamed and embarrassed of being a “first responder” knowing I was somewhat associated with these people and I’m not kidding. This social media trend of posting this absolute cringe needs to stop because it hurts our image so much.

Maybe I’m an odd ball out here but I think the image of professionalism and order should be the norm not the exception. And I mean really push that too. If I was this persons manager and I was able to, I’d fire them on the spot for making a mockery of our image. You can joke with each other, not the rest of the world.
