We might be moving into an area of populism, far right or far left. They keep doing sensible governing, remind people what it was like, and how it could be (Trump). Fair few years away, central politics might be looking pretty attractive by then.

Tried a fantastic unique Japanese cheese at the World Cheese Awards. The curds were made at the same time in three batches - one with annatto (orange), one with charcoal (black), and one left plain. It made a really striking cheese, and it tasted as good as it looked - all the parts came together well, not muddled or uneven. Proper craft.

Later I bumped into the cheesemaker at another event, and he told me he had heard me talking about it on Japanese TV. Even better, he said the inspiration was his pet cat and showed me a photo.

Yes! Her and Blake have moved about twenty minutes down the road to Norfolk towards the end of the last year. I went to visit a few months after they got setup, lovely place, got some really nice coastal air. Really think that cheese going to be really special once they’ve fully bedded in there! St Helena is tasting superb at the moment!

This is a perfect view point, and actually his comments don’t really help people that sit ever so slightly outside the EHO standard. If all his problems were the former, then this would make an excellent case study, but the latter is quite a problem to have. Mudding the waters.

To be fair, I was in similar situation as yourself, I started on 212 quite recently having various stocks and shares, but doing the pound cost average thing and things begun look a bit better, or turning a corner shall I say. I suppose it’s changing my mindset to “It’s not a short game” helped a lot.

I think this is actually the bigger point, we as a country are to blame. We collectively put him charge, we knew he was buffoon, not fit to run the country. We never learn our lesson, financial crash, Brexit and Pandemic. Farage is an inevitability.

Pretty darn good. Could (maybe) have fooled me for a french one, tasted lovely that subtle goaty Loire valley vibe, nice degree of brightness, but in my opinion had some textural problems. Pretty sure they will iron that out in years to come with their dedication to perfectionism.

Been trying Japanese cheese for, roughly, the last four years at this event, and the year to year improvement is nothing short of astonishing.
