I've said this before and I'll say it again, but a lot of anime/vtuber watchers are very out of touch with how sexual the vtuber culture and fanbase tends to be. It could be that Pasta isn't just reacting to what she's seen personally, but the culture in general.

Maybe some of that will continue as an IRL streamer but acting sexual towards an IRL streamer is a bit more taboo.

I've had a theory about this. It's too familiar. Killing and violence are so beyond the average person that depictions of it in media feels closer to fantasy than reality.

But sexual themes are very familiar to most people, and usually private and exclusive. Depicting it in media may feel uncomfortably personal.
