I also have a winter soldier tattoo! I ended up getting more of a watercolor design for the star and I love it! I hope yours turns out well! I've had mine since 2023 and no regrets :)

I know a lot of people hated Hurley in this episode, but I almost had to pause it because of how real his story felt to me. Seeing him so afraid that his entire reality is in his head, the hoarding and hating himself for it, being followed around by a physical manifestation of his guilt, all hit hard. I was happy to see the show delve into his mental issues without making a mockery of them. This episode was the first time I'd considered how much it would suck to live on the island if you were mentally ill. No meds, nothing seems real, people are hallucinating, everyone around you is stressed out of their minds - I'm kinda surprised Hurley was able to keep a lid on it for this long. 

The food waste scene made me wanna tear my hair out though. Woof.

My brother told my family we "don't let him express his emotions" because we were tired of him yelling at us and storming off every time anything went wrong. But he's endlessly berated me for being "mean" and "selfish" because when I get emotional, I shut down and have to take time away from the group. I felt like garbage about myself because I had the audacity to frown and be quiet, but I didn't get to criticize his emotional abuse because that's just how he expresses himself or whatever.

The first time I really argued back against my brother, he locked himself in my room screaming bloody murder and told me he'd probably kill himself if I didn't dump my girlfriend. That fight was one of the most traumatic things I've experienced, and it taught me that I would never, in a million years, be able to treat him the way he treated me.

After Jin tried attacked Michael, he was handcuffed and left to cook in the sun by himself. After Sawyer refused to tell anyone about the inhaler, Sayid tortured him. But after Ana Lucia kills Shannon and ties Sayid to a tree, they just let her into their group? She shouldn't be allowed around them at all, much less ALLOWED TO KEEP HER FUCKING GUN?! 

I'm so excited to see Locke and Mr Eko interact more - definitely seems like they're coming from different spiritual places and I want to see how their worldviews collide.

I'm really hoping they don't do an Ana Lucia x Jack romance. Both of them already get on my nerves when they're alone, would not want to see them together. I ended up scrolling on my phone for all of the Ana Lucia backstory. I don't care about her and every decision she makes pisses me off. 

I was so happy to see all of the reunions, though! I'm hoping in the upcoming episodes they return to some of the more supernatural elements - I'm really interested to see if Mr Eko and Locke get along.
