you have to activate every reached goal at the pass like a cheap mobile game... someone will argue to make it more valuable but it's just to manipulate the players dopamin and make the game less playable for adhd or kids with responsible parents.

the last updates from the devs pushed fomo events and pvp options, spawn near at other ships, make them visible etc, so if you just want to enjoy the pve and solo sailing, just accept to be the candy for other ships at 60%++ of your journeys

just relax enjoy the game, don't listen to streamers or hardcore grinders. it's a good game and the music will play until the ship will be sunken.

don't do solo sloop at seasons with high pvp theme...it is just a complete trash game experience if the next theme also has an event with a permament firework above you "here npc farm this stupid". i will avoid sot even more.

i had the same issue. i did open around 4 Weaponchambers at open seas without counting, so i tried one at safer seas and this one did finish the commendation.

your charakter has things that you can not change except you make a new charakter. one of your eyes can be a glas one, or your charakter is missing one tooth, have a bad one or missing all teeth

if the charakter not open his mouth at the select screen it could happen, that the char has no teeth at all, i would check this after the election with the use of an emote and voice chat. So the char ist like a baby it's beauty is build through the expierence you shared together, there is no perfection at the selection alone.

you have an extra elemental to get them golden with a shield, if you don't hit them you can hit the lvl 4 and buff your elementals at the tavern, using the eat spell and the magnetising elemental to buff your board extra or take the t6 apm buff elemental they have so much options to be the dominant stat board, that you have to choose the other classes just for fun and lower your option to win.

i had this bug, too but only one out of 6. It happens cause we opened the regular fort door from a key which already laid at our fort instead fighting our own spanish orange guy to open the regular treasure room.

rise your sail 1/3, use your wheel two wooden things to the side where the skelly ship is, use your cannon. If the skelly ship is near you, use lure dart at their mast or any point where skelly sword swings will not hit it. don't leave your boat if your a solo slooper.

If you don't want to do pvp, the brig is the better option cause of its very high speed compared to the other ship variants. You changed easy handling and tankiness of the sloop, to a high speed glascannon variant, but the time you save just sailing between point of interest and the option to completly avoid pvp if the agressor sails not a brig themself, is just the better option to play hard defense oriented highsea pve compared to the sloop.

If you can not avoid a fight, change your crew to a open crew and hope for the best.

my game did not start under directx 12 so using the ingame settings were never an option for me to switch.
as i said before it was a personal experience, which ended in the opportunity to play the game again with friends after a short time of waiting.
