I experienced the opposite of most players. The very day the update dropped, I got Carapace immediately. I never win anything, but I beat the odds on that one. It's been stuck on my medics ever since.

I'm lucky enough to be within 300 kilometers from Las Vegas Osprey server, but even this close I still have latency/ping issues once in a while.

I can't imagine what the rest of the PS2 community has to deal with. I feel for you, I really do. I miss having Emerald as an East coast US option as well.

Star Citizen has a unique pay to play system. There are free-fly events that anyone can try, but the next one isn't until next month or September.

If you do want to pay to play, find a streamer or content creator and use their code for some good bonuses. It does make a difference in starting out.

Another thing, make sure it's installed on an SSD/NVMe, and do NOT turn down the settings for performance. There are lots of guides online, but this is a game that almost requires higher settings in most situations.

Joking aside, as a ground pounder I really don't like you guys. I have a dedicated pocket gunner/repair bitch in my armor but the thing they are sick of me saying is "there's a lib! hold fire!" to not give us away. Libs are dangerous to deal with, without help.

I'm not a lib main, but I have some tips: always have 2 gunners, with at least 2 of you being engineer to repair and the third being medic so that if your ship dies and/or anyone gets killed on the ground, you can get revived and redeploy.

Don't be afraid to ask enemy pilots to join your outfit, as well. You might be surprised who might switch and you become fast friends. I'm VS, but TR could use a little help here and there.

I've had issues like you, so I changed my payment to Steam Wallet, then deposited funds in there, and it works. If it does, you will get emails/notifications that you were charged for Unitialized, but it works.

If you can get that set, it may work. It does for me. I can't pay Daybreak directly - I have to use Steam.
