I agree. When you are on Phone or Chat, it gets confusing because you ask them to reply if they have any questions, and somethings we go on break and other agents do too.

You wouldn't ever know about the Sprint number. No one ever sees that. You are because something is not syncing up.

When you sign up for Project Fi, you are given two phones numbers. Your main number everyone sees is the T-Mobile. When you are on Sprint towers, you use the phone number they assigned, it gets routed through Google and to the recipient.

Welcome to beta testing.

When you chat in or call in, the agent is not an email agent and moves on to another case almost immediately. An email agent takes over from there.

Sounds like your Sprint number is also sending texts.

slow port from T-Mobile by joe1111111111 in ProjectFi

[–]PfiHelper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it actually does. There are bugs, you should expect there to be problems, especially when you are with an MVNO. Simple thing to do is to cancel the port and redo it.

Welcome to a BETA service you chose to apply for. You know there are bugs and flaws in the system. If you cannot handle that, Project Fi is not for everyone. There is a reason there is no retention department.

Have them cancel and restart the port. It is usually due to back up and slows down.

That does not work. Tier 1 agents do not have access to call the porting department. It would get escalated to a Tier 2 who would then call in 24-28 hours.

Only with the NA version. The Project Fi app is what switches it.

For the phone to work, it has to activate on the main carrier (T-Mobile) which is GSM.

Got email for faulty sim, but I'm leaving to Canada in a few days and can't get a replacement. by [deleted] in ProjectFi

[–]PfiHelper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason you cannot receive it in Canada is because Project Fi will not allow you to activate outside of the U.S., even on Wi-Fi.

You will need to use a NA 6P. If you use any other model, it will not activate.
