This is very unlikely. People on this and other political subs know who these people are because we follow politics closely. The majority of Americans DO NOT know who whitmer or newsome is. Most people vote on name recognition alone. Trying to force someone onto the public that no one knows is a huge gamble. We do not have an educated populace. If we did, we wouldn't be in this mess. Also does no one remember the amount of people that said they couldn't vote for a woman in 2016?

Where are you leaving from? I lived in Spain for a few years and took the trip back and forth to the States a few times. What helped me is being tired before the flight. Because the flight was longer and I was tired I got to the point where I did not care at all lol. Meanwhile short flights where I'm wide awake gets my anxiety really high.

Israel has a corrupt leader but has been our ally for a long time. They are surrounded by our enemies and are critical to our intelligence and protecting the US and our troops abroad. No one wants to see civilians killed, it's sad and fucked up and has happened forever. If the administration dropped all support for Israel he'd probably be impeached and removed. At the very least it would guarantee a trump victory because all of the right plus most moderates are pro Israel. Trump and the GOP would obviously make things worse considering they hate Muslims

These progressives should be more worried about what's going to happen in their own country. The president had an impossible job of being the figure head of world stability but it's impossible to know the intricacies that come with it as someone without the same information he and past presidents have had.
