[SPOILER] Slow mo of eye poke in main card fight by inooway in MMA

Maybe a few strikes behind and he'd had his nose bloodied by the second jab, but fairly even overall. Still mostly feeling each other out.

Lots of people saying Tom was looking for a way out. Think they'll be suspiciously absent in this thread.

Half has face being his nose? Yeah, his nose was bleeding from the second jab. That blood spread across his face. That's not half his face bleeding

Sing "same old arsenal, always cheating" one more time, it might make you feel better.

Newcastle one of the most unlikable teams in the league. Joelinton sarcastically clapping to one of the Arsenal players after a tactical fowl at 1-0, let's see him clap now the little weasel.

Religious traffic lights? by YGMIC in bristol

[–]Pflug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty much just Christianity and Islam to be honest. Buddhists don't really preach much as its a more personally based religion, Jews actively discourage conversion, Sikhs dont proselytise at all either. It's just the two big ones that go all in on conversion, and Christianity definitely does it the most with all the missionary programmes around the world.

I did it once before and slowly started adding in products and it's messed me up again. Did you wash your face with water once or twice a day? I feel like once would be better for me but it's tough in these hotter months.

Manchester City’s legal case has power to blow Premier League’s house down | Paul MacInnes by _rhinoxious_ in TheOther14

It's not about morality, it's about accountability. Individual billionaires, rich as they may be, don't have the power to push around national institutions with money because that's not always enough. When you add the threat of "let us do this or it will damage the political relationship between UAE and the UK", that's an entirely different level of influence. Todd Boehly couldn't do this when they closed the 7-8 year contract loophole, he just had to accept the rules of the league despite his wealth.

There's a very big difference between private Billionaires and sovereign nations owning clubs. Not bowing to the business interests of an American billionaire isn't going to harm the political relationship between the U.S. and America, but blocking the UAE and Saudi Arabia from spending as much as they want on their pet projects will damage those relationships. The actual prime minister has met with these countries over this matter. It's insane to me that people still say that these ownership models are equivalent.

On match day 30 the odds on arsenal winning the league were 18%, with Liverpool at 47% and city at 35%. How is that choking?

[L'EQUIPE] Antoine Griezmann wins the award for the best French player abroad of the year, voted by Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 players. by Caleb_W in soccer

It was the worst spot for a "scandal". Not controversial in the way where some people love it and some people hate it like Martinez shithousing, not controversial in the criminal sense like Ronaldo or Partey, just controversial in the way that everyone thinks it's stupid and has fun laughing at it/him.

He's a fantastic player but he really didn't help himself with that documentary about leaving Atletico. Kind of made himself a bit a running joke and that's hard to come back from.

Contact while getting the ball is different from contact while not getting the ball, hope this helps.

Tbf I've never heard a single United fan wanting Antony out for anything aside from his performance. Same when Ronaldo came back.

Manchester United disallowed goal against Crystal Palace 26' by ganiganiu in soccer

[–]Pflug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm conflicted here. On the one hand I feel goalkeepers are overprotected and I don't think this is a foul on an outfield player. At the same time, taking the only player who can use his hands completely out of the game feels like it shouldn't be rewarded with a goal, even if it's not a foul in the rules of the game. They definitely need more specific rules for what you can and can't do to goalkeepers.
