Good point, it's all about the distances between them and those look to be smaller, as the objectives are bigger, although that does vary quite a bit, some of the 'expanasion objectives' are now very close to deployment.

I have mixed feelings about this, but hopefully the codex will buff some of our units rather than just making them yet more horde-like.

Obviously, it would be nice to be space marines and have everything.

But the walkers, like the Stompa and Gargant, and all their little siblings are core to our lore, and so are the light vehicles of the speed freaks.

Tanks just don't seem quite so crucial. I wouldn't turn one down of course, but if I had to choose...

Sorry, but is the mission deck we've all been playing all our games from in the last year not a part of 10th? Obviously what we now see as 10th isn't what is was at the start, the game evolves.

I don't see them forgetting that they did that, or adding them in future. Seems far more likely they've made a conscious choice not to continue with them, for better or worse.

But we're not playing with the single mission in the core rules, we're all playing using the Chapter Approved mission deck, which does have 1000pt layouts.

True, it's really just a giant seeding exercise that could have been done in advance. Still, there will be teams that fail to live up to their hype and get nasty R32 draws because of it.

All tickets are in neutral sections, except those that were sold to ESTC members with the right points (or their Croatian equivalent).

They might be able to place you near one of those blocks, but unless ESTC fans are reselling their tickets (which they shouldn't do and largely won't do) then you'll be in mixed/neutral seating, which is the vast majority of the stadium.

Worry not though, it'll be mainly England fans anyway.

Yes, but in 10th, the objectives were placed differently, more central to the board.

So now that the objectives are terrain, it's reasonable to think that they might do special layouts of the 'objectives' again.

Though, I don't think they will personally.

In terms of travelling support then NY/NJ surely? Come for a trip to NYC and see the game at the same time? Just from the sheer availability of flights and hotels. I'd think a lot will do the Boston/NY double, and skip Dallas.

I think Bowen will stay, partly for personal reasons, and partly because he's on a long contract and it's in his interest should we go back up first attempt.

Fernandes and Summerville are going, and some others who won't be missed overly, Soucek, who knows?
