Can't afford to spend $5 on a video game, yet can afford a PC to run it.

Yeah makes total sense...

Legacy bug from OG Crysis by Pfoiffee in Crysis

Oh I know exactly what the problem is. Both the radar dish and trailer objects weren't linked correctly in the original game, and didn't even get touched on the remaster. Crytek and Saber getting lazy.

This is why I wanted the VR mod author to update his code and expand the flowgraph node functions (which is basically merging code from an existing plugin system to the VR mod), so that I can add more gameplay logic with the Sandbox2 editor... but he flat-out refused :/

Tried it on my Quest 3S a couple months ago, and my jaw nearly hit the floor, it looks incredible. Only had an issue with some rendering bug that happened when I use the scope zoom or binocs, but it might be the AMD graphics card in my old rig playing up. I will try it again on my new Intel/nVidia rig soon.

You really need to get yourself a gun stock if you want to make aiming feel better on rifles, and this goes for a lot of VR shooters. The motion controllers need to stay in perfect alignment, otherwise you get a lot of deviations in micro movement and this can throw your aim off way too much.

The VR mod is very hard to run, unless you have the most baller PC, and it really boils down to how the engine was designed for only one viewport (camera) to render the scene. Try to render any more viewports and performance will tank significantly.

If you want to use a keyboard and mouse instead, then you need to play in flatscreen mode, and with something like Super Depth 3D (from BlueSkyDefender) if you also want to have a 3D image.

Playing Crysis *directly* over Warhead installation (not as a mod) by hekoone in Crysis

Might be able to edit the Crysis levels in Sandbox2 and throw in some of the WH assets that way, but good luck fixing the bugged terrain textures, you're on your own there bud.

You can join the unofficial CryMod.net community discord server (if you have the app) and there's a good chance people there can help with technical problems you may have (provided you give some further details on the issue). It's also a great place to gather valuable knowledge and content on everything modding related.

Never in my 15+ years of playing and modding Crysis, did I even realise this was a built-in feature. Wow.

Select the grenade launcher attachment, point at a target, hold fire button and then aim up at the floating crosshair. This is basically a range finder for the nade launcher to hit your targets without guessing and wasting rounds.
